Whizzer @ SFGAm?

Okay, I was just at SFGAm website, and in the coaster section they have Deja Vu and V2...But they don't list Whizzer as one of the coasters..My question is was it there last year? SFGAm doesn't even list the whizzer anywhere on the site as a current coaster...I find this strange because SFMM lists even the kiddie coasters...Whats up with this? The reason I'm asking is because I was looking for information for my web site....If you know please post or email me

also check out my new website....thanks
They didnt post the Whizzer last year on the coaster list. If you go to the other rides listing, it shows it. I was wondering the same thing myself but its their decision to decide what they want to do. They also dont show Spacely Sprocket Rockets either.

I noticed this a few months ago...you would think that they would want to showcase all of their coasters on the site....*shrugs*

It's never been on the thrills & roller coaster page. It's only been on the other page with rides. i guess that they don't think it's thrilling or big enough or something, but if you ask me, it's really fun and should be on that page. With those trees growing over the track, it adds a lot of excitement!

V2, Deja Vu... how can it be better? Add Viper! Oh, wait. It's already there!

I am happy to confirm that Whizzer is ON the website but it is on the MORE THRILLS page!

So I guess SFGAm is implying that the Whizzer is not a coaster. It looks like a coaster, runs like a coaster, feels like a coaster, but...

It's merely a "thrill"...

Okay but once again I keep thinking --SFMM, go to there Roller Coaster site they have EVERY SINGLE COASTER on there.....Why don't we Showcase off all of our coasters.....(As in the words of Glitch01) AND one last point here....SFGAm puts Giant drop on the main coaster page....But not Whizzer....What's up with that? Just my 2 cents..Any thoughts here...?

Coaster Demon,

I'm guessing the site was designed for Joe Q. Public, and I'm guessing they're marketing dept. figured that the lineup they gave on the site would get people more pumped about their park then if they added Whizzer in there. I'm guessing SFGA wanted to giver the impression that the coasters here are all high intense thrill rides, thus leaving Whizzer out.

Now, I'm guessing the reason SFMM list all their coasters is because the marketing department wants to promote SFMM as having the most coasters in a park. Therefore they listed all their coasters on the same site to make the right kind of impression on the visitor.

However, after saying all this who really gives a rip if its on the coaster section or not? What difference is it going to make?

You build it, I'll ride it...eventually
Good point Randy...that's probably why they did put Giant Drop there and moved Whizzer to the thirlls page.
