Which Waterpark takes the Cake?

There is a small place in North Carolina that has suddenly skyrocked onto the map. Emerald Pointe opened up the past couple of years a 76 foot tall free fall slide, some Pipeline Peak-type slides, and this year they just opened a Caripro suspended water-play coaster. They have an awesome wave pool where you can literally surf and they have tons of other awesome rides as well.

I thought that Waterworld in Denver was really cool...I went to Schlitterbahn last year, and quite honestly, I didn't think it came close to living up to the hype. It was fun, but half of the park just seemed really run down, and in a depressed section of town. Master Blaster was pretty fun, but not THAT great.

I am gonna go with a little lesser known water park. It is called Magic Waters in Rockford, IL. About 1 1/2 to 2 hours west of Chicago off I-90. It really is a clean and fun little waterpark.

Welcome to Deja Vu...home of the world wide wait.
Oasis Water Park, er, uh, Knott's Soak City USA in Palm Springs, California. Even though it's now owned by the evil people of Cedar Fair, it kicks ***. Not that many rides(7 adult ones, 2 kiddie) but The Black Widow makes up for it easily. The best dark water ride EVER. No holes in it, painted black inside of course, on a hill. And the finale into the smoke machine out into the water is the best finish ever. I love that park. Well can't wait until my hometown of Temecula, California starts building our water park within the next couple of months:)
Raven_Rider, I agree with you on WaterWorld in Denver.

ITS AMAZING. They have indoor raft ride's with top notch disney quality theming. Journey to the Center of the earth? I really can't believe this place isn't more well known. Waterworld blows Elitch Gardens out of the water. No pun intended.

If you are in Denver I highly suggest you go here, NOT Elitch. You will have the time of your life.
Schlitterbahn looks tight! but theming wise, Blizzard Beach looks soooo sweet. Raging waters looks cool too
According to the Travel or Discovery Channel, Schlitterbahn is the best...

Waterworld is definatly the best. There water slides have great theming and their wave pool is huge.
I know that its not the best but i like my little wyandot lake!
