Which Space Mountain ride is the best roller coaster?

I can't choose between Disney World and Disneyland. I like them both equally. But however I like Disneyland's Big Thunder and Splash better than Disney World's. & The Tower Of Terror's I like equally. :)

WDW Splash for sure. I can't pick between BTMRR, but Disneyland's POTC is better hands down, and WDW's TZ:ToT is better than DCA's. and while we're on the "Best" subject, Test Track 1.0 is way, way, better than Tron Track.

What one did you like best between WDW & DL? Also, are those two much different?

Space Mountain? Walt Disney World's and yes they are very much different in a way. WDW consists of two separate tracks that have two different loading bays. Rider's sit toboggan style, 6 riders per train, 3 riders per car. Disneyland has one track where riders load on one bay into a train that consits of 2 cars, with 12 available seats, two across, 6 riders per car.

I finally caught up on my Coasterbuzz reading yesterday (all gray icons) then logged on today and couldn't believe that there were 23 replies to this topic. Now I realize that 1/3 of these are from the same source.

Since we got into checking track records and profiles let do some math and break this down the same way be did about this same time last year in post per day.

  1. Jeff = 5.26
  2. Rickrollercoaster = 4.93
  3. rollergator = 4.12,
  4. Lord Gonchar = 3.20
  5. LostKause = 2.67
  6. Tekwardo = 2.65
  7. Ensign Smith = 1.50
  8. Jason Hammond = 1.37
  9. ApolloAndy = 1.33
  10. Mike Gallagher = 1.32
  11. Chitown = 1.20
  12. Acoustic Viscosity = 1.17

Just about everyone else on Coasterbuzz < 1 post per day

I'm sure some of these people have occasionally posted more per day but do we really need 8 replies in one post is less than 12 hours.

Do I really have less than 1 post per day these days?

I read most of the posts here but reply only rarely.

FWIW, I gave up updating my coaster count here years ago. The real one is here:

Hey, what gives? I do my best to keep this place in business as well.
Guess I'll have to type faster and more often...

Interject my opinions? Is that not what forums are for? "Opinions are like Assholes, everyone's got one and they stink."

I always thought that saying was meant for excuses, not opinions.

And really, that doesn't even make sense. Everyone's opinion surely doesn't stink. I think everyone here understands that a question of which ride is the best is really asking which ride provides the best experience, since that's what rides ultimately do, and in order for your opinion to have any value, you really have to have, you know, experienced it. If you haven't, then your opinion is ultimately useless to the people that you are expressing it to. You are still certainly entitled to hold it and interject it, but we are also then entitled to tell you that it has no value if you haven't actually ridden the ride. It should be readily apparent to you that someone's opinion who has ridden all of the Space Mountain coasters is more valuable than someone's who has only ridden two of them, which in turn is certainly more valuable than someone's who hasn't ridden any.

In other words, your second reply to this thread should've been your first. By simply tossing out "WDW," we can only assume that you've ridden all of them. Without qualifying your opinion, which is a fair thing to do and which you did in your second post, you are misleading everyone. If you want credibility around here (or anywhere else), you shouldn't do that.

You're a lot more patient than I am.

I think you've been incredibly patient and shown great restraint so far.

I suppose that's why you never added a "BAN HAMMER" button to my dashboard options.

I think the expression is "Opinions are like assholes... Everybody has one but nobody thinks theirs stinks."

But then again, what do I know?

Why not ask which batman the ride is better? lmfao

I've ridden two, looked at pictures of the rest, and have determined that they all provide the exact same experience.

That being said, I've definitely noticed significant differences from one SLC to another (not including the differences in restraints point).

The one previously at Geauga Lake (now MA) rode the best from the ones I've been on.

The one at Canada's Wonderland was by far the worst. So much so that I felt I had to take a better look at the ride prior to existing, and noticed there was a good 1/4-1/2" space between the side wheels and the rail which caused it to shuffle throughout the ride. Plus possibly the climate over time has had an effect as well(?)

CoasterGoddess, are you on other forums? Someone else is asking the exact, same Disney questions on Coaster Crazy? Both of you seem to have the same language and spelling. Just curious.

I can't tell, all godesses look alike. I admit, I'm a little godist.
