Racing coasters are counted as one coaster. Racer at PKI has a backwards side and it isn't counted as two. American Eagle is one coaster. Just because the blue side is SLIGHTLY different doesn't mean it is two coasters.

It's a personal preference; different people count racing coasters differently. Personally, I consider racing coasters to be *one* coaster unless one side runs backwards, in which case I count it as two (two different experiences=two different coasters).
I'm not one who does that "just for the credit", either, as I don't count the small kiddie coasters.

I passed by the park last summer in transit between Tacoma & Seattle. Didnt even know it existed, then found that it was a newly acquired SF park. From the freeway, the looper looks fairly decent. You say NO??

As far as the $80 is concerned. Yeah, it is nutso. I have never purchased a season pass as there really isn't $80 dollars worth of stuff to do. I guess the thought process is as follows: SFMM has a huge population base, and worldwide acknowledgement, therefore they can charge a paltry sum (given what the park offers), and get a ton of guests and certainly make up for the difference in entry fees through the parks midway, food, etc. Up here in the sunny Northwest, we have one park, and are kind of held hostage to it. I guess the $80 buys a lot of family days out at the waterpark (which isn't very spectacular) when the heat encroaches the 70 degree mark in July. I would imagine that the price might drop after the creation of a few coasters to get more folk into the Six Flags fold. We shall see...
