I am biased yes, but listen. Sunday I went to SFWoA. I waited forever for X-Flight, the ride ops were so ridiculously slow. It is fun, and very unique, but I am sure that Beast at PKI would be much better. BKF and Villain are awesome, but PKI has FOF and SOB to compare. The problem with SFWoA is that it is very dirty and low quality. They have a few great coasters, but alot of the employees there could care less about the people. I had 3 that said something rude to me indivudual. The people at SFWoA are pretty bad too. Villian's queue has so much grafiti in it and the park does nothing about it. I like SFWoA, but if PKI is as good as people say it is, go there. If anyone thinks I am bashing SFWoA, I am sorry, its not what I meant to do.

Read the trip reports, that says a LOT! Escpecially the most recent one by MooreOn at SFWoA including drunk trash urinating in a bottle in the X Flight line and pouring it out on the ground! At PKI, at least you can find security to escort trash like this away!

I would go to Cedar Point #1, Millennium Force #1, plain and simple!
Kings Island is the better park. While SFGL may have a better coaster lineup (I know a smoother one for sure), you will leave SFGL with a sour taste in your mouth. KI has the better atmosphere (because SFGL doesn't have one).
I think you should take my advice over everyone else's because I visit SFGL 10 times every summer and KI once. I also don't care at all for The Beast and SOB. If I came from out of state to go to SFGL, I would never want to go back again. The only reason I go is because of Batman and The Flight (which is the THIRD best coaster in Ohio, mind you). Another thing, why does everyone think the "wild life" side is so cool? I guess being exposed to SFGL and only SFGL you will see that that is how a park is supposed to look like. I go to "wild life" and see Sea World. SFGL only kids go to "wild life" and see trees and plants. The #1 reason why KI (I refuse to say "Paramount") is better than SFGL is because they have a wonderful thing called "trees".

PKI seems to have really refocused this year. It's hard to put my finger on it, but things are generally running smoother this year.

I wonder if it was the difference between SOB opening and FOF changing to lap bars. More people spreading to Hanna Barbara and Nick as well as 2 new Motion Theatre sims. They've really done a nice job spreading the crowd out. No line is too long(besides FOF which actually puts a big smile on my face when I think about it) and a lot fewe pissy people(whether from FOF or SOB). Even King Cobra has attracted a much larger crowd than previous years. Looks like to be a great year for the park. PKI has always had the greatest patrons though. Will they regain their Ohio attendance title from CP again? I have my guess. ;) I agree the park feels better though. I haven't spent this many full days at the park in a long time. And I'm actually having even more fun! Who knew?
Both parks have great rides, but PKI has a better atmosphere, better ride ops, and better efficiency. I agree with ChristopherPeeper that you will leave SFWoA with a sour taste in your mouth, despite the good rides. Maybe it's the trash everywhere, maybe it's the ride closures, and maybe it's the slow inefficient operation that leaves a bad impression. For me, it was seeing a drunk guy in front of me in the X-Flight queue urinate into a bottle and dump it to the side of the queue because he didn't feel like leaving to go the bathroom after waiting an hour.

Coasters...the best natural buzz available.
Excuse me...did I hear someone say nice employees, cleanliness, and Six Flags in the same sentence. Tell me If I am wrong..but I read a trip report... and some guy stood in line for X-flight and simply pissed in a bottle and dumped it on the gravel beside it! This would never be allowed at PKI!! Besides, SFWOA may have a few nice rides...but half of them are always closed!! They never run all of the trains... and dispatching time is terrible.
Where here at PKI, we have nice employees...ride-ops that will strike up a convorsation...BEAST, need I say more... Son of Beast... Flight of Fear is now an AWESOME ride...clean paths...trees everywhere...beautiful landscaping... a waterpark..Drop Zone(it's huge)... a very enjoyable kiddie land with good rides compared to others...decent flat-rides...and an overall extremely enjoyable expeirince!
I am sure you can tell what I would pick!

Life is short, make it count...
I would choose pki. It has the beast, face off, vortex, son of best, yada yada. And it has one huge drop tower!!!!! Being dropped 265 feet is amazing! Also, about x flight being so great...i think x flight is a good ride but i see this ride in a few years being exactly like the vekoma slc. another cookie cutter coaster that will be given to the "lesser" parks while b+m flyers will be given to the "better" and bigger parks. Just my opinion
Skip Six Flags, they do not have as much as PKI, I refer to Six Flags as the ghetto of amusement parks, that is because of how filthy, poorly managed, down ride time, and how the park manages there queues. Some rides have three coaster trains, but they only run one train therefore you stand in line for 45 minutes, where if they were running all 3 trains you would be on and off in 15 minutes. Go to PKI, I have a seasons pass to SFWOA and live only 20 minutes away, and the only reason I have a seasons pass to that park is because SFWOA gave it to me for free! for all the aggrevation I got when I did the commercial for X-Flight, Oh by the way, that ride is broken every single day.
