Which Park is Better?

I get to pick a trip to a theme park for my family's vacation, and I wanted to see which park that you think is better:

Six Flags Magic Mountain

*OR*

Cedar Point

CP is a better overall experience than SFMM, but if you go to SFMM you can also do Knotts, Disney, and anything in the LA area!

I predict the winner will be Cedar Point...based on how it seems like everyone loves CP. Personally, I'm planning my road trip for next summer including it.

MAGIC MOUNTAIN!!!!!!!! It ik so much less crowded right now. It will be a perfec time t ride X, Deja Vu, and all the other coasters.
Well, yeah if grumpy employees are your thing, then SFMM is your park!

Oh Lord.

Where do you live?

The parks are seperated by 3000 miles that has to come in play somewhere.

Sounds like a vs post in disguise to me.

I live in New York, about 2 hours North from the city. I want to got to both, but I can only pick one, so I'm trying to get your opinions! Is that so wrong?

If money is an issue, go hit Ohio. If you can spend more, fly out to LA during a quiet spring month (not spring break) and hit those pariks.

Each place has it's strength and weaknesses. If you've never been to CP, go there, because there's no other place like it in this hemisphere. SFMM is just a bigger variation on your average SF park.

Personally...I would take a look at what CP is getting next season compared to what SFMM is getting.

Bigger, faster, full circuit Superman the Escape vs. B&M Floorless.

Sure, CP doesn't have a floorless, but there's a nice one down the street from CP...

Then again, CP doesnt have X, De ja Vu or a killer Invert. Decisions decisions!!!

Then again SFMM doesn't have a Giga or an awesome impulse. And it doesn't have Magnum which people rave about for airtime. And yes, Cedar Point definately has a killer invert and it goes by the name of Raptor. Thank you very much.
