Where's Superman? Krypton Coaster at SFFT

I noticed that in the 2006 pictures of Superman Krypton Coaster, the Man of Steel is missing from his vertical loop perch. Does anyone know where he went?
Didn't he get struck by lightning?

A day at the park is what you make it!

I'm pretty sure I saw his legs in a store display window, so I'd assume he's a gonner.

Maybe they'll get an updated version.

I heard some where that he got stuck by lightning. Anyone have any info on that?

I read somewhere he might have been struck by lightening but I can't remember where I read that....
He probably got hit by an arc of electricity that extended from the ground to a cloud.
Seems like a plausible explanation, thanks for the info. This was obviously not a topic of great importance, I just thought it funny the unique theming was m.i.a.
I heard that a powerful natural electrostatic discharge which is accompanied by the emission of light produced during a thunderstorm may have struck it.

But then again I heard that a luminous manifestation accompanying a sudden electrical discharge which takes place from or inside a cloud, or, less often, high structures on the ground or from mountains could have struck it as well...

However, like the others I cannot remember where I read that. ;)

I heard it was struck by lighting. I read that in the above post.

Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."

I don't know.

Off starring in his own movie. Who knows, perhaps one day we'll see Superman Return. (s).

Lol...well I tried...

Haha no I'm not giving Patrick the finger
