Where's Premier Rides?

I used to have a pic of it but I don't anymore. However I can describe it from what I saw in the pic. The padding around your head is alot wider believe it or not so when the OTSR comes down your head must be straight and it slides gently over your ears but since the OTSR has wider sides its closer to your face so it presses tightly against it and doesn't allow your head to move until the OTSR is undone. If I ever got the chance I would ride it but IMO it sounds scary not being able to move your head. Stuff like that always bothered me. Hope you understand how the OTSR's are now.

Journey to Atlantis at SWF is a Mack watercoaster. The one in California will indeed be the same as the one in Florida.

Sorry about the superman snafu. I had a major brain fart the other night when I replied in this post. :) I knew that Superman was a vekoma, but for some reason I associated it with Premier.

The people at Premier are working on some kick ass technologies and some more improvements on current train designs.

(Just to clear things up)

Very similar to the premier LIM Bowls

Are they kind of like the restraints on Speed: The Ride? That ride has NO headbanging at all. Best coaster in Vegas no doubt!

Vekomember is from Holland, ishn't zaht veerd?

Is Buzzsaw Falls (water coaster) at Silver Dollar City a premier ride?

Yes it is. See Premier's web site for more info.

I also recall that premier was going to be involved in that giant ferris wheel that was purposed for Las Vegas. Wonder what ever happened to that...???

Thanks Great America!

Premier is also subcontracted by Togo to be the US distributer and contact for Togo rides. Obviously there are not many left in the US, but I am sure they do some business through part ordering.

There are some excellent renderings of the Las Vegas Ferris wheel being built in Funworld this month. There is even an excellent shot of it on the cover. Premier is not mentioned anywhere in the Vegas portion of the article. Pax is building the one in Moscow. The Vegas one will be 560 feet tall and the Moscow one is gonna be 558 feet. Man, that thing is gonna be awesome! If I have the time, I will scan it and place it in my Yahoo Briefcase.
