I was wondering where it would be and how tall it will be?
I feel quite certain that it will be at SFOG. There have been numerous different people giving what they know. Such a wide array have said many different things leading to a similar conclusion, and SFOG's new coaster to replace Viper will be major. I'm fairly sure that SFOG is getting a Superman themed ride and is apparently basing a whole section of the park on it. A ride was removed before closing and the park took absolutely no time to prepare the area for the new coaster (Viper was taken down only a few hours after it's last run). Most signs point to a B&M, and I think a flying coaster is the most appropriate type of coaster for a Superman theme. As for height, I'd guess about 100-125 feet, considering it would be a fairly new design.

I dont think this will happen, but I hope it wont be like Oblivion, built at AT, then some Japanese park, then not going anywhere else.

X is the best and it beats all da rest!...Coasterlicius!
Something BIG is coming to Hot-lanta, that's for sure. Will it be the much-rumored B&M flyer? The park execs DID mention the 200' height restriction, and that there was some "play room" if/when they applied for a variance. Of course, one thing I learned from Jeff Siebert is how much these guys like toying with us about their upcoming attractions. If it turns out NOT to be a B&M flyer, look for one at one of the other "large market" SF parks soon (and then I'll be rooting for a S:RoS clone at SFoG for next year)!!!

Hold up...PKD doesn't need anything. We are way better off than some parks. We have 2 coasters as smooth as, or smoother than B&M's. Do you want some cheese with that whine?

PC will trade you a beemer (Vortex) for that XLC. You can put it right next to Shockwave.

I rode "X" and never went upside down.

I still say it'll be a B&M hyper,if anything. B&M and AT spent many years designing their flying coaster so I would think they'll keep their flier "one-of-a-kind" for a while.
Vortex for XLC........fair trade! I'd like to see XLC's massive hill towering above the island beside goldrush.

PKI- need a great new steel....they have FoF now but 1 more would be nice
Its too soon to start speculating. Maybe we can ask Miss Cleo!!
My close to the business source says IOA will get the next B&M Flying Coaster. It will be within the next year or two, so keep your eyes open. =-)
BGW is due for something mew in 2002 but the first B&M flyer will probably go to SFGAdv.
For some reason I see SFGA or SF Great Adventure getting it. But I hope Cedar Point gets it

The Lemon Chill (TM) Guy isn't "close to the business" as you say. He is merely a lowly peon who works for those who are "close to the business."

I really need something...
That something is...
Snake Venom, Metal Dog, and Mad Cow!
IOA will get one in 2004 in the jurasic section. This is where you will find the first B & M
I don't think its right how AT keeps B&M prototypes locked up for a couple of years. B&M could lose business that way. Eventually, there is bound to be a newer, better innovation that would beat out the B&M flyers. If B&M doesn't get its fifiteen minutes of fame like B&M hypers are getting now or inverteds got a while ago, AIR might be the only B&M flyer we'll see.The new innovations will overcome the flyer so no more flyers will be built. Catch my drift???
More than likely Six Flags Great America. They got the first B&M stand-up coaster (Iron Wolf) in 1990, they also got the first B&M inverted (Batman the Ride) in 1992, then they had one of the two B&M speed coasters (Raging Bull) put in in 1999. So SFGAm would be a good bet by me.

I've heard rumors about SFOG getting one. But I would have to say that Islands of Adventure will get the first B&M flying coaster.

Current Favorite Coasters:
1)Raging Bull 2)Millennium Force 3)Medusa (SFMW) 4)Vertical Velocity (SFGAm) 5)Dueling Dragons (Ice)
SFoG in 2002, no question.
