Where to stay around Knoebels

I'm planning to go to Knoebels during the first week in August. i haven't made any hotel reservations yet but I was wondering if anyone else new any nice (and preferably in-expensive) places to stay. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks! ;-) P.S If the place has a web-site could you include the link? I also heard about a hotel that was in walking distance but couldn't find it on the net.

I would suggest the Pine Barn Inn. It is about 10 - 15 min,. from Knoebel's. The rooms were nice and bigger than my club level room at Disney World. The rates are about $75- $105 a night.

Just go to orbitz.com, search hotels for Elysburg, and you should come up with something for 50 -75 per night.

I was just there two weeks ago for a softball tourney in Lewisburg and paid $75 at the Holiday Inn Express, which is about 25 minutes from Knoebels. There are closer hotels, but I was trying to stay close to the softball facilities. There are several hotels in the Danville area, which is about 10 to 15 minutes away.

Glossers Motor Inn is another place. It's on rt 487 about 6 miles from the park and maybe 2 miles from Elysburg. I'm not sure of the price since Knoebels is basicly in my back yard. :) Knoebels web site should have a bunch of hotel listings.

There is this one Holiday Inn that I stay at every year when I go. It's a little from the area, around and an hour away. It has many good places to eat and shop as well as the park itself. I just can't thing of the area though. I keep thinking Strasburg.

Strausburg is indeed about an hour, hour and a half tops from Knobels. Camelbeach is only 10-15 minutes from Strausburg. I think that is prob the closest thing to a larger town youll find near there, maybe Allentown. I cant really help you on hotels, since I say in my cabin all the time.
I found it! It's called Augastines Inn Bed and Breakfast and is within walking distance of knoebels. Thanks for your help buzzers.

The site http://themeparksonline.org/tpolodging.asp?ParkID=90 lists hotels/motels near the park and some reviews of some of the establishments.
