Where to purchase cheaper SP for SFGAm?

My home park is SFStL, but me and the misses have not been able to get our SF SP's yet. We're heading to Great America on 5-23, (and leaving for CP tomorrow) and didn't know if there were any places in Gurnee offering any discounts? For instance, our local Schnuck's has SFStL SP vouchers about $15 cheaper than to buy them at the park gate. Thanks for the help!

Jewel-Osco is a place where you can purchase SP for about $10 cheaper than at the gate. It's a grocery store and should be around Gurnee. The offer ends May 25th, though. The address is 6509 Grand Avenue in Gurnee. That should put you pretty close to SFGAm. You'd pay about $85 at Jewel compared to about $95 at the park.

I have a question for anyone who has bought their passes at Jewel/Osco instead of the park, since the offer is expiring after this week at Jewel, can I buy my pass from there but not have to bring it to get processed SFGAm the day i purchase ?because im planning on most likely taking my first trip the week after memorial day weekend
Crazed, all you need to do is purchase the SFGAm SP Voucher by next Sunday, May 25th to get the $85 value from Jewel-Osco. Then, you can process the SP anytime after that at SFGAm. I purchases my SP Voucher from Jewel late April and processed it last week. Same thing if you were to purchase a single-day ticket from Jewel..you can use it any day except for Fright Fest. Hope that answers your question.
Thanks chiatrain
Pokeyron, is there any chance you can make it by SF:StL before you leave on your trip and purchase the SP there? Even if you don't actually visit the park, you could still buy them $15 cheaper, get them processed, and then go use them at SF:GA. Since SF:GA SP's are more expensive (by $3) to begin with, and then appearantly only a $10 discount at the store there, it would seem like you'd be getting a better deal to just buy them locally.

Also according to the Six Flags SP website, the SF:GA tix are only $73 dollars, SF:StL are only $70. What's more, if you're going to Cedar Point anyway, SFWoA is only a little ways further, and the SP's there are only $60.

I hope this isn't too much information for you, and it may not work out in your situation, but I thought I'd mention it just in case. I had the fortune of being in San Antoino in early April and I purchased SF SP there for only $55. In addition to going to SF: FT there, and SF:GAdv since, I will be at SF:StL next weekend, and SF:WoA and SF:GA before the summer's over. Talk about getting a good deal! Anyway, I hope this helps! Take care and God bless!

$95 at the park?...I thought the web site said $72.99 + tax? I was looking to save money, not spend more :) Anyway, I am not able to get to SFStL before our flight leaves for CLE tomorrow at 830 am. I have thought about the SFWoA idea, and depending on how busy CP is this week, I just might do that. Otherwise, it sounds like I need to find a Jewel store in the Gurnee area. I am staying at Grand Hotel; anyone have directions?

Hey pokey, I was going to suggest buying your SP at SFStL, too. I believe you can buy SP from SFGAm online for $72.99 + tax if you purchase 2 SP, but you'd have to pay for S/H as well. I believe you can purchase SP from Jewel for $72.00 + tax only if you purchase 4 SP. The hotel is on 5520 Grand Avenue, which shouldn't be too far from that Jewel and SFGAm. It also looks like the Grand Hotel does a Room&Tickets SFGAm package deal.

The website prices are for online only. When I went to renew my pass, I called up SFGAm for a question and they said I had to call the # on the website for they arent affiliated with the park it self, just w/ SF corp.
I don't know how it works at other Six Flags parks, but at SF:FT, the $55 price quoted on the website is also the price at the gate.
I did a little more investigating on the SFGAm site and found that SP are $72.99 (regardless if you buy them online or not) The info is under the ticket section. Also, SFWoA is not open any days next week, except the weekend, and we will be in Gurnee by then. Looks like I've found the Jewel store that I was looking for. Anyone know of any "out of market" SP offers?...I had heard about them once last year, but wasn't for sure on the specifics...

The website says $72.99 but you have to remember you are still on the internet and thats there selling price, but alot of people who've been at the park has said its $95 and it would be akward for a place like Jewel to be selling season passes for more money than they actually cost at the park.
When I read the $72.99 price a month ago and compared to Jewel's prices, I actually did think Jewel was overcharging. But, that $72.99 price only comes to you if you purchase those pass vouchers online, pay ship/handling, and wait a few days/week.
Dang... we just got our SP's here in Georgia, and we only paid $54.95, plus tax. We missed the April deals, or it would have been even cheaper. You can buy them online for the same price we paid, BUT, I truly doubt you would be getting them on time..ha! Unless you could pay and pick them up at the gate there in St.L.

Do they have Publix Grocery Stores around, or in town, of SFGAm? If so, all Publix's sell the SP's also! Just a thought.

They are correct about going by SFSt.L.. Would be much, much cheaper to get it there.. before you go. Buy it, process it, and then head out. Not to mention, if my memory serves me correctly, there are many other places around St. Louis where you can purchase a SP, I just can't remember the exact places right off hand.

I have been to St.L SF many, many times... love it. I have ridden the Screamin' Eagle sooo many times! Actually, if I am remembering the years correctly, we rode the Screamin' Eagle not long after it was first installed in the park there. It has been many years ago and I was VERY young then.

Here in Ga, to get the deal we got, you must buy your tickets before 1st of June, if not mistaken. Still, our prices are soo much cheaper than SFGAm, and other parks! (So it seems anyway.)
