Where to go? PKI or PCW?

I can't believe no one has praised Wild Beast. That thing is nuts. Not the greatest woody of all time, sure, but it's flying through the course this year. The airtime has been reduced slightly, but it's still an awesome woody, the best I've been on outside of Comet at Great Escape.

PCW's Vortex is also quite a good ride. The location is stellar, and the speed is great. The only negative is the short as hell ride time.

Otherwise, Ghoster Coaster is a good one to check out, Minebuster is decent [but get a seat in the middle, wheel seats are hell on it], Psyclone is "okay" although it's no Huss Frisbee, Shockwave is damned fine, and the other assorted coasters are all worth a ride or two.

However, I can't stack it up against PKI just yet. I *will* be heading to PKI in a week or so, so when I get back I'll let ya know ;)

Go to PKD instead ;) lol im just playing, but yeah PKI has better coasters.

Ride Grizzly at PKD and then try to stack it up to Wild Beast, you'll see why...

Honestly I liked the park (PCW) better than PKI, call me crazy or even call me a little sore for losing the Flyers but PCW has a lot more to do.

As for Carowinds... I dunno, I mean the rides are pretty good. I wasn't a fan of Borg, I think the Batwing and X-Flight cousins are far superior to the former Stealth which is probably why I didn't like the ride so much. I guess the ride lineup is okay, there wasn't really anything that stood out other than Top Gun: TJC. The front half of the park had a ton of charm, but as you looked around it seemed like a lot was missing.

Borg for example was placed in an area that looked like it had replaced something big. Sure enough after getting home, Borg replaced a Steamboat ride. The park just felt so empty.

PKI for sure. It is prolly the most under rated amusement park out there. The only thing they miss is a world-class steel coaster, if or not you count vortex. They have an impressive collection of diverse flats, great shows, good water park, and some pretty good food. Also, there kids areas cant be beat.
