Where is the most air on a rocket coaster?

A few questions about the currently only rocket coaster

Where is the best place on xcelerator for air?

Do the front and back give really different rides?

Uhhhh. To the first question probably going onto and coming off the tophat.

The ride is radically different from front too back. The front gave more air for me. The ride had much more intensity up there as well. The back gives a much different sensation, but only going down. The ride up the tower is quite slow, comparably, so the tug going over is a little exaggerated.

I actually got about the same amount of air in every seat... It just altered where the airtime occured... In the front it was as the train crested the tophat, in the middle it was right at the apex of the tophat, and in the back it was as you started to head down.... Mind you, we're talking about very slight differences, but the fact that this ride can give so much air from any seat just adds to its all around greatness.

There's lots of air all around the rocket coaster. In fact, you don't even need to be on a rocket coaster to get air. There's probably air all around you right now. In fact, you're probably breathing it.

But I do think the most air is near the bottom of the rocket coaster because of atmospheric pressure.

A rollercoaster? What's that?

Could you tell me about the air around AIR?

The air around AIR is very nice and clean. This is because Alton Towers has so many trees and keeps a nice atmosphere.

I prefer the back of Xcelerator. I can't get enough of the sensation of being literally pulled over the peak of the top hat and down the vertical drop.

However, I must say that I love the front for the visuals. I happen to think that this is one ride where any seat is a good one though, as there are a few sweet spots throughout.

I like looking at pictures of air. It's so photogenic!

Where's the most air on a rocket coaster as defined by the staple happy Cedar Fair?

How about when the train returns to the station and I lift my butt off the seat!? ;)

The stapling doesn't really matter on a ride like Xcelerator. You still get an amazing amount of airtime, stapled or not.

The top 3 all time cobrarolls.

1)Raptor's
2)Deja Vu's (times 3)
3)Batman Knight Flight's

Except that they don't staple anymore on Xcelerator. In that respect, the ride has become much more comfortable since its opening. They are certainly still concerned about safety, but they don't smash you like they used to.
