Where did anyone get info on PKI's April 3

I can't for the life of me find any information on April 3 media day at PKI. Can anyone help?

April 3 at PKI is ment only for the people who won free tickets to go to PKI and preview TR:TR, these people won the tickets on the radio so that's probably why you didn't or won't here much. Although today, 103. something in cincinatti debued a commercial about the April 3rd preview on tv today. Of course all the info they gave was what we know already, but the comercial was shot in the antechamber and queue so I got a preview of it just by watching the T.V.! Of course they didn't show the actual ride part

Oh thanks, I was really wondering what was going on. I didn't know if those people got to ride all the rides or just preview Tomb Raider.
I'm pretty sure they'd get to ride all of them the lucky son of a guns except for Beast which won't even be open for PKI's grand 30th ANN. Opening on the 5th. My parents agreed to let me buy a free preview ticket off Ebay but I had to turn it down because of school and a track meet so I guess I'll have to wait for May 11th. Oh well, I'm sure I'll get my full the 5th 6th 7th... with all the comments and trip reports. Before you know it, it'll be back to the same old same old chatting and excitment for what PKI has in store for us in 2003!

School is cool. Plenty of time to ride on May 11th and the Beast will be open then. I do wonder how late the park will be open for those lucky people on Wednesday.

lOl, Hey, me again! I'm not 100% or even 50% sure what time but I "thought" the commercial said midnight but don't hold that against me. Anyways, i'm out of here.

HAPPY EASTER EVERYBODY, hope you get your fill of Ham and chocolate easter bunnies in the coming hours!

LONG LIVE PETER COTTONTAIL! LOL I REALLY NEED TO GO TO BED........

I am going to this and it is from 5-10 pm. Only major attractions will be open and I will be able to ride TR:TR and when Igte back I will tell you all what it is.

Newbie,

Why do you want to "tell everyone what it is?" Why not let everyone see for themselves.

To me "telling what it is" is like telling someone what Santa is bringing them, or what their wrapped birthday gift actually is etc etc etc.

By "telling" you would do nothing to impress, rather come off as a party pooper.

Let people be suprised. let them experience it for themselves first hand rather than by your words.

No words will suit this attraction.

While I know there are MANY people wanting to know what TR:TR really is, I think that if someone is going to post something about the ride, they should contain a 'SPOILER NOTICE' in the subject or the body of the report so those that don't want to know can skip the thread.

That's a really good idea Sean and I agree with Shaggy that words will hardly be able to describe the ride let alone the experience. I don't want to know what it is until I ride it. The only thing I'll want to know is whether or not I'll be sick for the rest of the day from it. ;)

I'm glad there's a test seat for the ride as well, because I wouldn't want anyone to wait and be disappointed they can't ride. I would guess that pause would slow down the 'escape' as well. I hope everyone really likes it and has a lot of fun.

Did anyone get to ride Meteor Attack yet? I've not seen any reviews and was wondering how it was.

Thanks.

Its confirmed that the beast isn't goin to open?

Beast rocks,

Yes, the park has confirmed that The Beast is not going to be operating opening weekend.

Newbie, do you have tickets for April 3rd or are you going to the April 4th season pass preview?
I need to know Thursday, what it is. Therefore when I go Friday, I'll know if it's gonna be something thats gonna make me sick. I don't feel like havng my whole day ruined because I'm sick. So anyone who knows on Thursday, please post, but with a spolier notice like Sean said!

Steve,

My guess would be to look for a review late afternoon on Wednesday.

I really wish someone *would* tell me that for either my b-day (4-17) or christmas I was going to find a 32 inch Sony VEGA flatscreen TV wrapped up. Then I could just relax and stop debating dropping the 6-7 hundred bucks to buy one myself =].

Seriously though, I do not think this ride will be any worse (ie suck) if you know whats coming. Personally, I think I'd be MORE interested if I knew what was going to happen.
