When was the 1st time you rode a coaster and how o

My first experience on a coaster was the Blue Streak at Conneaut Lake Park. This part I'm not joking about, I was 3 years old. Wedged in between my parents, I remember screaming the entire time.

My parents wanted to ride it and had no one to watch me so they took me on. It scared me so bad, it's the only thing I remember from my childhood. Maybe that's why I love them so much today.

Ride 'Till you drop
Chitown, me too! The Whizzer was my favorite, until I got up enough nerve to ride the Demon! :) My mom and I would ride the Whizzer over and over again. It was an awesome ride. I hope that SFGAm doesn't take theirs out anytime soon so if I move back east, I can go there and be engulfed by nostalgia! Peace. :)

Medusa at Marine World: the best in the west!
5 years old on Mr. Twister
CP Blue Streak...I was in Kindergarten.
That made me a coaster lover the instant I got off it.
Gemini, when I was 5, it was so fun. I was so scared on the way up, but when we got off of it I liked coasters so much I rode it 10 times that day.

201.3 Miles to Cedar Point from Owosso MI.
I was six when I rode Jr. Gemini.
There is a picture of me on a "Jr. Gemini" sized carnie coaster (Illinois State Fair) in my parents house. I had to be about 4yrs old. But I have no memory of that, so I always say my first coaster ride was Jet Scream (now Viper @ SFoT) at Six Flags over Mid-America (now SFStL) when I was 8 (1984).
mine was the gemini at cedar point.i was so terrified that i peed my pants.(i was only abuot 8 or 9)now you cant get me off of the things.
Mine was the Mister Twister at the defunct Elitch Gardens in Denver. I was 7 years old. I also rode the Wildcat at Elitchs the same day. Both were great coasters. Elitch's made a huge mistake not moving them to the new location.
gemini age 5-6???/ *** This post was edited by JBCoaster on 9/8/2000. ***
Mine was the Scooby-Doo a PKD! I was so scary cause I was only 4. And I didn't ride another roller coaster until I was in 5th grade!
Medusa at SFGAdv this year. I guess in May so I was still 19 then. I guess I was a little older than most of you were on your first rides, but I'm sure I enjoyed it just as much.
I don't remember an exact age but I was a youngster. The park was Paramount's Carowinds before Paramount bought it. I think the ride was Thunder Road maybe... It was a long time ago. All I remember is screaming my head off like a little baby and then getting off and wanting to do it all over again!!

My first was deffinately the High Speed Thrill Coaster at Knoebels back in the late 70's. I was probably about 4 or so. Back then Knoebels had two coasters HSTC and the Jet Star which was taken out in the early 90's for the Whirlwind.
