When Is the Best Day To Go To Kings Dominion?

Well we all love to go to theme parks but who likes HUGE lines for some ride you haven't been on? Considering you are one of these people, you try to always go to your favorite park on a mon, tues, wed, or thurs. Well not all parks are like this and I was wondering if any of you that are home to Kings Dominion could spot some tips and tell when to go and get your full day of coasters without the big line syndrome and having to stare at the ground and at the coaster 50 times. If anyone has been there on a Sat, Sun, or Mon, please express your thoughts on that trip especially if you have been there in the past week or so. Which rides are worth riding 1st in the morning or last in the night? So I plan on having a great time at my 1st PKD trip this weekend and HypersonicXLC or Volcano better not be closed!!
Thank You Very Much
Go on a day close to the first day. The 20th would be your best bet. Not too many people.

My favorite Coaster is named after Poop, and I actually like Boomerangs! What is wrong with me?
O yeah does anyone know of any coupons or discounts of any kind in a hotel or something?

I think that Burgher King has discount coupons along with Giant groceries.
The last time I went on a Monday and a Tuesday. Everything was a walk on except for Volcano and H:XLC, which were still only less than an hour wait. FOF was not quite a walk on, but still only about a 15 minute wait. I was really lucky these two days. This was the last week in June.
When we went the last week of June, somebody in line handed us some Giant foods coupons, when we went to pay, I noticed the discount was for Giant Foods employees, and we got in for less than half price! I couldn't have thanked the guy more:). The other discounts were nice, too, but they came from Food Lion.
any weekday except friday is your best bet. saturday and sunday are more crowded. PKD is my home park and i would know this. you probably wont wait less than at hour for hypersonic anyway. if its on a hot day, dont go to the water park either, lines are shorter during mid day because a lot of people go to the water park. the only real lines you have to worry about are hypersonicXLC, volcano, flight of fear, and shockwave. the others are fairly short. hurler expecially! lines close for all the popular rides like volcano and hypersonic at 9:00. you can also get volcano express passes around 12:00-4:00 if they are available that day. as a big tip, go to hypersonic first. the best gate to wait by is the one right behind the eifel tower. gates open at 10:30 when the park opens. after hypersonic, go straight to volcano and then flight of fear. after that lines are short for all of the other coasters. shockwave gets shorter around 7:00 so u will get on a lot faster in the evening. well i really hope these tips help a lot and enjoy your visit.
