Y'all need to come out to San Diego for some Carne Asada Fries goodness: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carne_asada_fries

This is basically two California Burritos without tortillas, if you order it, you might want to have someone to share it with. There is a good place across the street from the Giant Dipper to grab a plate.

^Wish you had mentioned that a few years' back. The place we ate across from the Dipper should have stuck to being a bar - the food was pretty terrible.

Well, to be fair, it is pretty far from gormet. It was designed with hangovers in mind. This place is just one beach south, and would be worth the cab ride from the Giant Dipper: http://hodadies.com/

Well at least they picked Heinz which is a Pittsburgh based company. So it's probably as close to "local" as you could get for something coming out of a can.

Fries with Sweet Thai Chili Sauce. The McD's in Bangkok have two dispensers, one for ketchup and one for Chili Sauce. Heaven.
