Does anyone have any news on Deja Vu at Six Flags Great America? Their regular season ends Aug. 26 and they still haven't opened it. With any further news will someone tell me?
Lets see, If my calelations are right the Deja Vu will Never be open cause sooo many people ask this same question over and over. I think this is enough of this.
look at it this way.if deja-vu does not open this season at least you'll have a new coaster to look forward to for next season,it's kinda like getting a new coaster next year when you otherwise would not.
The real question is, when will this topic be closed? My guess is around 9:00am on Mon.
Probably after Star Wars Episode II opens.
I am as tired as everyone of these threads, but to be fair to those who are new to this site/forum:
None of us know, and probably neither do the parks for sure, although they may be able to make an educated guess. They will be open when they are ready, tested, and 100% safe. However, with the current rate of testing and progress visible to us, I sure wouldn't reccomend anyone counting on any of the Deja Vus being open this year.
When they are open to the public (and not just rumored to be), I'm sure there will be plenty of fanfare all over the net.

im just curious, and im new to this site so most of you already know this, but what were the major setbacks that prevented Deja Vu and X from opening in spring of this year as was planned?

Red Wings Suck!!!
My guess is since Six Flags Great America has stopped advertising Deja Vu on TV and now only advertises Vertical Velocity, I'm going to say it may not open this year. Who knows...

Looking into crystal ball...Just always remember that Volcano the Blast Coaster didn't open until the middle of August. There's still hope.

Batwing-Bow Down
From friends that work there, they usually say that its going really bad. Which like all the other parks, its heard that it might not even open this year. The ride shouldnt have ever been built.
And they havent stopped airing it on tv, they are both still on. And people shouldnt get so angry at this topic, its old, but he probably didnt know. Makes you look like youre cryin over there.
We're all still waiting for word on Deja Vu. When something happens, you'll be sure to hear about it in the News section.
