When did Ghostrider add its tunnel?
When did Ghostrider add the tunnel during the drop? I usually go there every 2-3 months and I was surprised when I saw that the tunnel had been added. I know that this is old news but I'm wondering when they did it because i'm sorta a regular there since it's less then 45 minutes from my house.

I believe it was added sometime in January of February of this year. Not sure on the exact date, however.

im sorta glad they did it because it makes it alot scarier it feels like youre going to hit it

The 1st drop is aimed right at the Raddison hotel, which is owned by Knotts.
The "tunnel" doesn't take anything away from the ride IMO.
In fact, I think it adds a little to it...

From what I've heard, neighbors (not their hotel) were preety upset with the noise from GR. (kinda makes me wonder about future KBF rides). So to quiet the neighbors, CF quieted the first drop). The way I see it, with the tunnel everybody wins! No tunnel on a ride named "Ghost"-rider would be complete without fog effects in MY park...

Tunnel? I have no reccollection of a tunnel on Ghostrider and I went there in early August, can anyone confirm where the tunnel is and when it was added? Maybe my memory is just a little hazy.
It probably went so fast through the tunnel, and you blinked and missed it. I have shut my eyes due to a "contact attack" and have missed an element.

Thats what I was trying to say Soggy, a roof over the first drop- not a tunnel like Goliath or on Millenium Force, just a roof.
