The 1.1 version has missing assets for the crash animation and will (ironically) crash your computer. Download the new 1.2 version.

That one is hilarious as well!

The grownup in me likes the prospect of fun, but the kid in me is suicidal over what a fat bastard I'll become. -Peter, Family guy.
Did anyone else notice is you double click a flying duck it blows up and looses all its feathers, but continues to fly? Funny to us anyway!

Just a couple of G-Force junkies!

wow, that last one was funny, lol, i want to try the duck thing! I get all excited just like a kid with a lollipop! :)
For all you coaster crash simulator guys I'd recommend reading "How Trurls own perfection led to no good" by Stanislaw Lem.
Anyway - it's really a phenomenon how recreating worst-case scenarios seems to be the most fun about computer games.
Remember that car-race game where you had to run over everybody and everything, with pedestrians giving you the highest score?
Seems like we all have that sadistic little guy in us that just wants to know what-happens-if.

As long as it's "just a simulation" I guess we're fine.

That car-race game sounds like the Sylvester Stallone movie "Death Race 2000."

Links to the game and the movie information.

Actually, the game was Carmageddon... they had 2 sequals, the last of which wasn't all that great, but was still a fun game none-the-less.

Carmageddon, that was the name.
It has to be said though that running over pedestrians in Carmageddon is a much more sinister activity compared to screwing around with Roller Coaster Tycoon creating absurd catastrophies - there is much more senseless gory realism involved and in the end it's much more boring.
Plus Carmageddon programs your brain by having you perform the same stupid routine over and over again instead of your own creativity programming the machine.
