When are new ride announcements due?

I am not particularly interested in wish lists/speculation, but I am wondering: When do parks usually annunce the new rides for the next year? I have distinct memories of being in parks (Hershey, BGW, PKD) late enough in the year that these announcements had been made, but I am not sure whether the timing of these announcements has changed.

Hershey and many of the Paramount Parks have already made their announcements (or have made it clear that announcements are forthcoming.) Cedar Fair and Six Flags don't usually make theirs until later in the year or after the holidays, but word usually spreads before that happens. As for the smaller parks, they tend to happen at any given time.

...Whenever they feel like it...

Some happen now, others wait until Mid-Winter or later...It all depends on their marketing plans.
