What's Your Sentimental Coaster?

Mantis at CP, followed shortly by Raptor at CP. Raptor gave me my love for "big" coasters, and Mantis, well, just because!

Coaster Thrill Ride in Puyallup WA.
That thing is so sweet, and has that rickety feeling. Like a tamer Cyclone. My first love...

Rolling Thunder at SFGAd. It was my first wooden coaster and I will always love it!

ShockWave @ SFGAm. It was the first "BIG" coaster I ever got on back in 1989 (I had passed on Magnum earlier in the year, too terrifying). That view where it almost looks like you are @ even height with the Sky Trek Tower is one of my favorite coaster views. Plus, that was the first loping coaster I rode with anything more than just vertical loops and corscrews (the boomerang element).

GASM at Six Flags over Georgia. My first coaster and that first ride was awesome. Still remember it to this day.

What i don't get is why Mind Eraser wasn't put behind Americana or by RWB, Corkscrew would still be running, too bad Premier tore it out

Yes but then Superman would not be in the park. I don't think that it would matter if Mind Eraser was put in any other location--the Corkscrew would of most likely still been taken out.
Oh yah, and my 'sentimental' coaster would be most likely Double Loop at SFWoA. I think that this was my first major coaster.

Tidal Wave.
The Lakeside Cyclone, my first "real" coaster and too me the best in Denver, the one exception to my coasterbuzz name in my opinion.
My sentimental coasters are:

The Red Streaker at Willow Mills(defunct.) My first real coaster ride, and a decent Jr. Out & Back woodie. Sure it was only 60- 70 ft tall but it sure did pack a punch for its small size. Its sitting idle in storage in a warehouse just outside of Mechanicsburg, PA, and I was hoping that Williams Grove would buy it. An English fellow bought it for a small park somewhere in Europe but couldn't get the Permits necessary to ship it overseas and set it up in his park  (Thanks to Joel Styler at:  http://www.defunctparks.com/index.htm for that bit of info.) It would probably seem tame now, but It sure would bring back some great memories.

Sooperdooperlooper was my first steel looping coaster. Its a classic Schwarzkopf all the way. Hersheypark has done a great job at maintaining it, and it still runs like it did from the day it opened. Sure there are alot of coasters I'd rather ride, but I have a place in my heart for that one. My son gets mad because I make him ride it when we go to Hersheypark. He says, "It's too wimpy," but if it weren't for those Schwarzkopf's and Arrow's where would be at today? I still like the double helix at the end, and of course the loop.

Great American Scream Machine. First coaster I've ever rode on.

Joining the discussion a little late here but I have two, too:

1] Belmont, San Diego, Dipper.  The first wooden coaster I rode, about age 7.  It was in the early 70's and they were still running the Prior&Church trains.  I wish I would have appreciated it more....instead I was just scared, LOL!

2] Coney Cyclone.  Even though I only rode it for the first time last year the Cyclone, the entire Coney area...heck, the entire city of New York found a place in my heart on the very first visit.  There's just no place like NYC and I hope to live there someday.

For me it would have to be the Hurricane(now known as the Arkansas Twister). This was once the only wooden coaster in Central Florida and a pretty good ride to boot. I wish it was still a Florida resident and an under rated park was still in existance(Boardwalk and Baseball). I hope I can get up to Arkansas some day and take a ride on my old friend the Hurricane.
I love the coasters that most enthusiasts hate:

MS

RWB

Disaster Transport

Now that this thread has been revived, I must put in one more thought.  I do love both Drachen Fire (which sadly, I know I will never ride again).  I rode it first season, 2nd week, and it was lovely.  Just lovely..  So sad.....:(  The other sentimental coaster would be Lochness Monster.  God, I just love that first drop.  Love it.  The second drop is loaded to the hilt with ejector air too.  So sweet :)

I'm gonna add a third to my list, the one that started my enthusiasm:  SFMM's Revolution.  It pains me to see how its run today.
Mine would have to be the Raptor.  I love that ride.
