What's your "potential" track record?

Currently I have 78 coasters in my track record. But - what if every ride had been operating at every park I went to? What if I had time to ride everything at each park I went to? What if I *wanted* to ride every coaster in every park I went to? If I had ridden all those rides, my track record would be 99.

Here's what I haven't ridden that I could have:

Broken down: Goliath, Flashback, Deja Vu (SFMM); Deja Vu (SFGAm); High Roller (Vegas); Drachen Fire (BGW).

Decided not to ride: Ghoster Coaster, Taxi Jam (PKI); Jr. Gemini, Woodstock Express (CP); Mind Eraser, Road Runner Express (SFWoA); Vertical Velocity, Spacely's Sprocket Rockets (SFGAm); Lil Phantom (KW); Goliath Jr., Canyon Blaster (SFMM); Canyon Blaster (Vegas); Howler (Holiday World); Roller Skater (SFKK); Blazing Fury (Dollywood).

So what's your potential track record?

Decided not to ride or unable due to height restrictions: Ghoster Coaster, Taxi Jam (PKI), Woodstock Express (CP), Mind Eraser, Road Runner Express, Double Loop, Raging Wolf Bobs, Big Dipper (SFWoA), Lil Phantom (KW), Pteranadon Flyers (IOA).

SBNO: Drachen Fire (BGW).

That would take me up to 65.

Not counting things like Lil Phantom or Pteradon Flyers and other Kiddie or Kiddie only coasters that I may have missed...

Chose not to ride: Exterminator (KW... had too much of a headache from PR to stay at the park anylonger), Flitzer (Morey's Piers... line was too long compared to that of Great Nor'Easter).

Broken down: Mind Eraser and S:RoS (SFA... broken down... surprise surprise!)

So with those four, it would take me up to 75.

HI,

Decided not to ride because just didn't want to: Swiss Toboggan at the now closed Enchanted Forest (IN); Woodstock's Express (CP); Kiddie coaster @ SFWOA.
Couldn't ride because they were closed (sbno): Deja Vu (SFGA).
Couldn't ride cause of a hieght restriction: SURPRISE!! There are none. I am tall enough for all!

That brings my count up to 80. Hopefully this will be 91 after a couple of new parks (IB, Adventureland) this summer (and Deja Vu). :-D

X Looks Awesome! Oh Yea!!

Closed rides: Kumba, Face/Off, Beast, recaR, Rugrats Runaway Reptar.

Couldn't ride: Kiddie coaster at SFMW. If I got to ride those, it would take me to 99!

Here is my list...

IOA - Pteradon Flyers (not allowed to ride)

Old Town - Windstorm (drove by the place several times, stayed down the road from it, didnt know they had this ride. Thought it was all bungee and things like that that dont excite me)

Magic Kingdom - Space Mountain (broken), Thunder Mtn (broken), Barnstormer (broken) note: I probably picked THE worst day to visit Magic Kingdom as much of the park was broke down that day. Every coaster in the park was down as well as Splash Mountain.

SFGAm - Deja Vu (not opened yet), V2 (broken or too long of a line to bother)

SFWOA - S:UE (broken down)

CP - Junior Gemini and Woodstock Express(chose not to ride either)

My current count is only 55, riding these would put it to 65.

Well I have been on 212 coasters, but I think it would be somewhere around 223 or so.

Some parks won't allow you to ride over an X amount of height.

After this summer my track rec will be over 70. I'm curently at 66

Hmmm, interesting topic. Let's see, I have 140. Coasters where I've been at the relevant park and the coaster had been installed, but I haven't ridden:

BGW Python (closed)

Kennywood's Li'l Phantom, PKI's Taxi Jam, Cedar Point's Jr Gemini, IoA's Pteradon Flyers, Waldameer's Ravine Flyer 3 (need kid and didn't feel like borrowing one/begging to get on)

SFGA's Chiller/Robin (closed)

Coney Island: Jumbo Jet (completely missed)

Fun Forest's Windstorm (walked by many times, never bothered to ride)

That's 9, so I could be at 149 if I'd snagged all of those.

I've thought of this many times, but you can "what if" till your blue in the face, so it's no use really. Anyway, I'm currently at 55 coasters-

Too scared to ride (back in the day) - Space Mountain WDW, Drachen Fire(RIP)

Decided not to ride because of the horrendous wait - P. Flyers at IoA

Not operating when I went - Face/Off, Top Gun, Son of Beast, King Cobra(RIP), Adventure Express, Vortex, Rugrats Runaway Reptar, Scooby's Ghoster Coaster, Taxi Jam - all at PKI (luckly I'm going back this summer when all the rides SHOULD be open)

So that would put me at 67 coasters.

Right now I have 37 coasters in my track record

Not tall enough(years ago): King Cobra, Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad(was only 3 years old)

Too scared(a long time ago): Space Mountain(Magic Kingdom), Vortex(PKI)

Not Operating: Windjammer(can't say I'm dissapointed), Woodstock express, Ghoster Coaster(PKI), Timberline Twister(KBF), Mind Eraser and Poison Ivy(SFNE), Wild Mouse(VF)

Those combined would give me a total of 49 coasters

When I went to SFNE Flashback was closed all day and i wanted to ride it. I will June 24! IT BETTER BE OPEN!

Choose not to ride: Boomerang at SFMW, Wild Maus at BGW

Too tall for: Goliath Jr. at SFMM, Roadrunner Express at SFMW

Didn't know about it: Blazing Fury at Dollywood

That would bring my track record to 48. The only rides I never got to go on because it broke down was Roman Rapids (or at least one that I was interested in) and the Tazmanin Devil at Marine World.

Forgot a couple - I was at SFGAm and didn't have time to ride Viper or Demon so that makes my potential track record 51.

For me, I've never been on Sproket Rockets (SFGAm), Little Titans (Big Chief's), Lil' Shaver (Mall of America) or Python (BGT).

Notice all (but Python) are kiddie coasters? I'm too big for them! Python was closed. I was looking forward to riding one of the original Arrow corkscrews...

-----------------
When did American Eagle get more airtime than Viper?

Does each Deja Vu count as a different ride? Since they are all identical?

Rob

If the world was perfect, we would have a rollercoaster at every corner.

Up to you. I would.

Hey, i have 8!

-----------------
Take it from a Michigan's Adventure fan, our park kicks butt!!!

They still won't let me on Goliath Jr. Until I get to ride it, my track record is 55. Hopefully everything I plan on visiting this summer will be open. If they are, my track record will soar up to 80-something. *crosses fingers*

Well I have always been at parks when all their coasters were open, with the only exception being "X" at SFMM. My total record right now is 175.
