Hershey Park is about 30 minutes away... gotta love the Wildcat, the best wooden roller coaster ever...

Wildcat is my second fav just under the Beast. Not many think Wildcat is that good. I happy someone else thinks as highly of this ride as I. When I tell people it's one of my very favorite coasters, they give me a funny look.

And I am so lucky to live a few hours away from Hershey.

I regret to inform you that Lakemont Park is my homepark.

Name says it all. :)

If we're talking in terms of where I feel the happiest though, I'd probably have to say Disney World. The whole darn place.

KENNYWOOD!!!!!

I think I am the first to say - Knoebel's

Even after 86 coasters, Phoenix is still my favorite. Airtime baby!!! :)

I don't think you're the first one to say Knoebles. I dunno, I could be wrong.
Great America, the name does not say it all. Ill. or Cali?

I may have exagerated ten minutes. But I am really close to I-70 and on a Sunday morning thats just a straight shot through without traffic.

Knott's. It isn't perfect, but it is always a lot of fun! They have a well rounded variety of rides, and most importantly Halloween Haunt!

Now that I think about it, Knott's Scary Farm is my home park! :)

0-82 in 2.3 seconds! =Wow!

SFMW in Vallejo CA would be my primary home park while PGA is secondary along with Bonfante Gardens and Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. I have done SFMW as a day trip, but the other three are a little too far for a reasonable single day trip and are better suited for an overnight stay. (Especially with the treacherous return trip over Donner Pass on I-80 with the road construction and lane closures)

Closer to home, we have a small water park in Reno's adjacent city of Sparks (Wild Island) which contains a wave pool, lazy river, a few slides, and a water play area with big dumping bucket, but the land area of Wild Island put up a 40 foot tall Miler steel coaster in August (Wildcat). I'm not sure if the coaster will be open through the winter months along with the mini golf and go carts. Even though Wildcat is small, it is a nice ride with some great floater air and laterals in the turns.

The Wild Island Wildcat was the last coaster to be built by Miler.I drive by Milers' facility frequently and haven't seen any new construction activity lately. It is interesting to see a new coaster being built. I think that for smaller coasters,Milers' are pure genius. It is amazing how intense they are for their size.-----------------
Lets' save the Vancouver PNE Coaster before its'too late!

I'm lucky enough to live almost equidistant from Knoebels, Hershey and Dorney (all just under an hour each). But since I hit Knoebels more often, and nobody else picked it yet, I'll consider that my home park.
