Funny notes
--UIUC's undergrad library is built underground to avoid casting shadows on a cornfield.
--Memorial Stadium, which is being used for the Chicago Bears "home" games this season, has more seats than Solider Field did before the rehab.
--The Champaign Police once used my dorm room as a "stakeout" for busting a local drug dealer.

Century Tower on UF campus actually has a "story" that goes along with that idea...."rumor" has it that if a *V* should ever graduate from this here fine institution of higher learning, a brick will fall from the Tower....so far, it's still *pristine*, which is WAY more than you can say for the students...;)
Graduated from Wittenberg University with a B.A in geology.
Then received my J.D. from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College with an emphasis in environmental law.
My wife is in her final year of graduate school at The Ohio State University and I've got tickets for the big game on saturday. Ha!
Yeah, RGW, there is a similar story @ UIUC. If a virgin ever graduates, then this statue ( http://www.uiuc.edu/navigation/panorama/almamater_high.htm ) with finally sit down.

Although only 14, Im already thinking about my future! I would really like to study Mechanical Engineering, and not for the purpose of designing roller coasters!! Wow, can you believe it?? An enthusiast wanting to be a mechanical engineer and not work on coasters!
As for a college.. Im not sure. But my dad has plenty of connections as far as colleges are concerned ;)
Actually, Virginia Tech would be really nice.

I spent a year at Cleary College (now University) in Ypsilanti, MI, but ran out of money. BUT, I've been working for the University of Michigan - Dearborn Campus for 28 years. So I consider myself "affiliated".
And, frankly, I'm not holding out much hope for UM against Ohio State on Saturday.

What class were you? One of my good friends just graduated.
I'm MIT Computer Science, both a B.S. and a Master's. Greek affiliation: ZBT.
GO....oh wait. Our athletics sucked. Except fencing and pistol, which kind of scares me knowing the kind of people that go to MIT.
Somehow, I'm now at Princeton Theological Seminary getting an MDiv.

Gemini: That's cool, how long were you here and how did you like it? I haven't found it to be too bad so far, although I'm considering a transfer to McKeesport next semester. It's funny that you majored in meteorology, because I actually entered PSU as a meteorology major, but I moved to IST before I even started.

Any team that loses to Ohio University, on homecomming weekend, sucks ;)

I have high hopes of going to NYU to become a screenwriter/film maker.. if that fails I can always go to plan B: a billion dollar Six Flags owner on the moon.
Ahh.. I can see it now.. SFM: Six Flags: Moon.
To the young ones thinking about becoming roller coaster engineers -- think long and hard about it. I was at the head of my class through high school, thinking engineering would be right for me, but college kinda changed that perception.
