Whats up WoA latley???

I went to six flags worlds of adventure today for the first time this season. i went last year and enjoyed it, but today i did not have a great day...

X flight was down the whole time i was there ( 7 hours) Superman was down for a hour, Mind Eraser is closed for the week. Double Loop was closed. But i heard it has some problems, anyone know what they are??? they only bright side was villian runnin 2 trains and BKF running 3 trains.

The prices there are horrable. 3 bucks for water. 5 bucks for 2 slices of pizza. 5.99 for my absolute favorite thing in the world. Funnel Cake!!!!!!

Whats going on with them latley?

3 coasters closed? that's ridiculous!!! it's nothing new i've heard. and they have that I drove past CP just to get to WoA cuz it's better" commercial.

ROTFLMAO.

its not like i did, i live 2 minutes from it. I will be taking a break from WoA, CP here i come!

You go to any Sbarro's in the mall and you pay the same price for pizza. 3 bucks a water I pay at pirate and penguin games. 6 bucks for a funnel cake is outrageous though. We all knew the double loop was closed all season so far. Now x-flight being closed. News to me. Not good. Hopefully 4 days in the park in a row we get to ride at least all the coasters (except double loop) at least 20 times....lol I will form my own opinion. Not biased either because i really dont take all people say in their trip reports to heart. You really can't. If you did that you would hate every park. If i did that i would never have went to KennyWood. My friend said Thunderbolt was tame. HA! Love it. Love that park! Now onto the Villian. My first SLC. My first B & M floorless. My first launched intamin. And my first Flying. So excited. Also will love the wildlife. Thats why we picked SFWOA over all other competitors. Gotta see Shouka!!!(SP)

Okay, you hit the park on a bad day. So far this season, every coaster has been operating except Double Loop due to some rehab work being done it. Don't necessarily think that it's been this way all season so far. The park has been doing great.

You complained about the prices. You must not have been to too many parks this year as every park I've been to has high priced food and drink except BGW, for their very high quality food I don't have a problem paying their prices.

Sounds like most every day I went last year. Isn't "rehab" what they do in the off-season?

As for food prices... you're at an amusement park. What do you expect?

I myself experienced just the opposite when I went to SFWoA for the first time 5 weeks ago. Every coaster was running except Double Loop.

Even X-Flight was running all day with 2 trains.

I guess its a "hit and miss" park so to speak. I thought it was a decent park, not spectacular, but good enough to make a return trip next year.

Just like almost any amusement park (especially big corporate), make sure you have that ATM card handy and expect to put a good dent in your checking account.

3 coasters down? It could be worse. My brother visited Astroworld and 4 coasters were closed all day. That wasn't even posted outside the park. So, count your blessing I guess :)

What isn't up with SFWOA? That's typical SFWOA for ya. I'm surprised they were running 3 trains on Batman. They usually stack the trains when they run 2.

Typical SFWoA....don't make ANY expectations when visiting...good expectations, that is.
Hey, I would have taken 3 coasters down at PKI on the first 2 opening days. Beast, Face/Off, Runaway Reptar, and recaR were all down both days. Granted RR is a kiddie coaster and I knew Beast would be closed, but still. Between the 2 times I have gone to SFWoA, Big Dipper was closed one time and Boomerang was closed the other time, but Boomerang was closed because the others were vallying in their cobra rolls. I guess I was lucky.
