What's up with X?

Is it even open right now? I heard it was closed because something cracked on it. Anyway, I was planning on heading out to Cali. on the 9th through the 12th of June and was just curious if X is going to be open.

Also, how about Deja Vu and Thrill Shot? I'm hoping Deja isn't stuck in the cobra roll when I go, and when is Thrill Shot even supposed to open back up? If all of those are open, and Xcelerator is all finished at Knotts, it should be an awesome trip.......

X has reopened for this past weekend but with only one train. The waits reported stretched to 7, yes SEVEN hours. Also there is some rumors that the ride was ran just for the holiday weekend and will close again while they do work on it. Thrill Shot has not been running either although Deja Vu has been running fine. Flashback has resumed it's annual summer closure during the daytime because of the noise it makes for the waterpark nearby, but you should be able to catch a ride on this at night...if you don't mind a headache!
7 hours! That is rediculous! I guess I'll have to get there before the park opens obviously. That will suck if it isn't even open while I am there though.
Seven Hours!!! Who would wait in that line??? I have never ridden it but I don't think any coaster is worth a seven hour wait.

I thought X was one of the best coasters I have ridden but I would never wait 7 hours for a ride. With so many other coasters to ride at the park I think I can find something else to ride instead.
BTW, This has been discussed a number of times recently so please use the search function.
We were at MM last Thursday (5/23) and waited 2.5 hours for X, but by mid-afternoon the wait had streched to 4 hours. X proved to be worth the wait, but the park was not very full and all the other coasters were a walk-on, so I'm not sure how they will handle capacity crowds. Let's hope they solve these challenges quickly, before the full heat of summer kicks in. (There are no fans or water misters on the line, only a few exhaust fans from the queue house that blow out on a few choice spots before entering the loading area.)

Does anyone know when the Cali schools get out for the summer?

sheesh

flashback at night, sounds entertaining

X looks great but I think it's a one time thing, nobody is going to wait 7 hours for a ride that's breaken down all the time. I hope this isn't the Arrow Suspsended Coaster the sequel...

Obviously people are going to wait seen hours because they did...

Sweet mother of all thats good in this world. 7 Hours I serioulsy find that even hard to fathom, who in their right mind would wait 7 hours for anything. The only time I would ever stand in one place for that long is at work when I am getting paid for it.

Even I would have to draw the line there at 7 hours. Heck, I don't think I'd wait past 3 1/2 hours if I knew it were going to be that long before I got in line. That's amazing that people would actually wait that long. You sure that it's seriously actually gotten that long? I see that it has been 4 hours, that's past my limit as well. Oh well, for one ride I'd still give it a good wait, it looks like a great ride, one not to miss. Just hoping that it doesn't keep breaking down up until when I get over there.

Even though I have not been there for 2 months, I could believe a 7 hour wait, if only one train was running. The loading was really slow even when it was running 2 trains. The ride has an enormous queue, and if filled or overflowing, 7 hours may be a believable figure.

I only hope any "problems" that are happening on the ride are getting taken care of. The ride is fabulous.

Nothing... NOTHING... can prepare you for... the Fourth Dimension!

I always hear that flashback has to be closed because of the noise. Right now there is another forum that is talkin about putting sand in coasters to bring the noise down. Why don't they put some sonad in it, it would be worth a try I think

As Soggy said, the queue is very long on X. Aparently the line was stretching all the way down the bridge to Viper. I know when I was there earlier this year the wait was 4 hours without the entire queue being filled (almost full, but not quite), so I have no trouble at all believing the wait was 7 hours. I also think that I read SFMM wasn't offering FastLane for X over the holiday weekend.

Someday there will be something here.

I wont be riding X until Six Flags introduces a new coaster. 7 hours!!!!!!!!!!! C'mon. That is ridiculous.
I used Fastlane and waited 20 min, but I heard from one of my friends that 3 weeks ago even that line was almost 40 minutes.
