Just about everything I've read about PGA's Grizzly is negative. Well I've never been on PGA's Grizzly, but I've been on PKD's version and I think it is one of the most underrated wooden coasters around. I must admit the the first drop and second hill aren't that exciting,but right when you hit the tunnel Grizzly goes crazy. Are the designs of PGA and PKD's the same? Has anyone been on both and make a comparisson?
PGA's version is much more toned down, the hills are ramps, and the coaster itself is very rough. A complete waste of wood. PKD's version is alot more fun. BTW, rumor has it that PGA's Grizzly will be removed after the 2001 season in order to expand the Action Zone.
The two rides don't compare at all. PKD's is a fun romp through the woods. PGA's is about the roughest coaster I've been on (OK, maybe not quite as rough as the Predator at DL).
