Whats up with Nitro's que line??

I noticed today, that on Nitros Que line, there are these little censors, that when you step on them, they flash. Does anybody know what these are??

Maybe a new digital way to count how many passengers a hour? Instead of the old turnstiles, this may be the future! :)

First of all, it's spelled QUEUE. It doesn't make sense, but that's the way it's spelled.

Second, "queue line" is redundant.

Ouch, Jeff! You're as bad as I am, correcting people's English and/or usage of syntax (not to mention spelling -- someone throw me a dictionary -- please!). You must have had as bad a day as I did today.

I know theyre not turnstiles, because the turnstiles are at the station entrance. There are four of those LED emitters. They don't seem to serve a purpose, but its the only line in the park with those lights. My closest guess is that theyre line lights.I havent been in line at night so....
i was wondering the same thing. i was looking at them and every other time a person steps in them they light up but if you look at them they have numbers in them. SO WHAT ARE THEY?
The lights are used to tell you the speed Nitro is rolling. The faster they blink, the faster Nitro is running.
queue (french origin) a line or file of persons or things waiting to be served or brought into service.
queueing up (chiefly british) to form in a line or file while waiting to be served, etc.
