What's up with CP's White Water Landing?

I was on White Water Landing on 7/22 and I noticed something very different about part of the theming. You know where after the first lift you go through the "mountain" structure and then come around a corner and then go back in? Take a look at the outside of the "mountain" structure. It's the side facing Mean Streak and the Train Station. There is a huge gaping hole and I don't see any debris in sight. I don't remember seeing this lastweek when I was there.

Did anyone else notice this? What happened?

I noticed problems with that wall the last time I rode White Water and that was back in June. Areas where the wall isn't falling down, the 'glass is so thin you can see right through it. I think that wall has had that gaping hole for a while now. I wonder if they ever plan to fix it.....
