I just got back from Wisc. Dells and at Big Chiefs gokart park they have 3 roller coasters. When I went only one was running Zeus which is a good woodie(i think cci) and the cost was $5.50 per ride or 4 rides per $20(the other 2 coasters werent running). Whats the most you have paid for a single ride on a roller coaster. What do some parks charge for coasters when they change their admission policy from one price for all day to one price per ride. Ive read on some coaster sites/boards where early in the year they let you in free but each ride is paid for separately, what has the price been for the coaster and do you think it was worth the money?
They werent selling all-day wristbands? I hope that is just for the early part of the year. I refuse to go there unless the wristbands are available.

$5 for Manhattan Express. I think it's $8 or $10 a ride nowadays. I used the complimentary NY NY hotel 2 for 1 coupons to save $$$! :)

I payed $20.00 about 5 years ago to get 4 rides on the great nor Easter on the boardwalk in Wildwood NJ.Now,we buy the wristbands for the piers because they have two great waterparks on them so,i get to ride the three coasters and hit the waterparks for one price.As sort of a tradition,I also spend $4.50 every year to ride the single loop coaster(it is a jetstar with one loop) on the boardwalk in Seaside Heights NJ.

I think $7 or $8 bucks for the Togo Manhattan Express. And I always wonder why I go on it every time I visit Vegas despite it's unbearable 2nd half.

I don't know if it counts, but I paid $50 to get into Sea World, and all I rode was Kraken, and Atlantis. That's $25 each. Although I did ride Kraken a few times!

Manhatten Express was the worst ride ever for the 10 bucks I shelled out. I refuse to patronize New York New York for that reason. Thoughouly disgusted with the whole thing. And on top of the hour wait, I could hardly blink during the ride they pressed the harnesses so tight. Must stop before vien pops out of head

Never had to pay per ride, but we did average one day at CP with the price we would have paid (we had season passes), and how many rides we rode.
We figured one day that we would have had to pay about $1.50 per ride. Another day (more people there), it would have been about $3.00 per ride.

Chitown, this was early in the year and they werent selling all days pass's yet. Has anybody attended a major park on a day when it was price per ride and not one set admission and what did you pay?
I paid 5 clams for the CI Cyclone. 4 for the reride.
I do know of people who paid a few hundred dollars for the first public ride on Twister at Knoebels. The money raised went to the Make A Wish Foundation.
