During I recent trip to Floida I went to BGT. And I must say this is the most disapointing park I was ever at. I had to stay in line for 1 hour just to buy tickets!
When I FINALLY got into the park, the first ride I rode was Gwazi because it near the enterance. I heard a lot of good reviws about this ride so I thought I was in for one.
But after the ride was finished I was very disapointed. The ride provided no thrill, no air time, and no fun! I mean I could of fell asleep on this ride!
So what is so great about? And does anyone find BGT to be a good park? I mean Kumba and Gwazi are overated. And the only good ride in the park is Montu.
If anything is given too much praise it's Montu. There is nothing awfully exciting about it. Kumba is the best ride at the park by far. When it first opened everyone who rode it was like "What was that?" You could never be quite sure about what was coming next. As for Gwazi, I didn't really like it.
Some picky people we have here. How could you say that Kumba is bad? I seriously don't understand people. They don't like a coaster unless it is 300 ft. with 80 inversions. Some coasters can be boring, but take what you get . Montu and Kumba are two great B&M coasters. It is a great park. As for Gwazi I can't say anything because I haven't been on it.
Oh you are so fried GRL. Don't even talk about my Kumba. Just because it is only the best ride anywhere doesn't mean you have to rag on it. Another one of your major errors was the time it seems you went. April is not a cool time to go to BGT since the Florida kids (and every other kid in the world) is on spring break, and every one of them is there. Exactly Jacob, the first time I rode Kumba I was like "What the hell is this?" I'd rode stuff with like 3 inversions, but never one with 7, or a B&M. That ride surprises you so much, especially with that last half-underground whodeallie with a helix.

Thank you for riding Raptor and enjoy your day here at Cedar Point, America's RollerCoast!
Craig it had nothing to do with it being 300 feet or 80 inversions. The reason most people on here dont like those coasters is because they arent at Cedar Point. Im sure if Montu and Kumba were at CP they would get nothing but praise.

A coaster doesnt have to be 300ft for me to like it. It just has to thrill me. For example at Kennywood Park they have a ride called the Magic Carpet. Sure it's not very big but I find it to be a very thrilling ride.
And Montu does have things that let it stand out above Kumba. I love the going through the undergorund trenches and the high g's it pulls at the end.
Kumba just does not give me any thrill. The people who I rode with didn't find it that great either.
Cedar Point is my home park, and I think that Kumba blows every ride at the Po!nt out of the water! I don't know about MF though, I have to wait 'til Sunday to let ya know about that.

Hey Rev, it seems that you're the one spending more time bringing Cedar Point in to every conversation. In fact you're the only in the thread to even mention it. Why do you want to pick a fight with everybody?
Here's the thing folks... everyone has different tastes and different opinions. No one says you have to agree, but I require that you agree to disagree, because this isn't the place to start flame wars.
