So what if its not the Tallest Inverted
So what if its only got 4 Inversions
So what if it dosnt techniclly have a drop(I like to think its more of a decent into the first inversion)
But Just One Ride on this marvellous B&M Inverted will change the way you think about this coaster, Its Themeing is brilliant, The Way it twists underground and around the station is amazing, and its even more great when you think about the limited room and the Height Restrictions Alton had to deal with to build this coaster. This Ride may be short, but its still intense enough to give a Great Thrill. The Inline Over the Station is Superb, The Turn before the loop is quick and fast, the dive towards the loop is Great too. The Helix at the end of a ride is also a suprise if you dont know about it.Also a front row seat is advised on this ride like with all other Inverted Coasters, Its worth the extra wait. The Back seats are also good if you can get them, A Fast Intense Ride indeed here.
The Queue line to this ride is also Great, they have managed to twist it all around the ride, you can stand right next to the loop with just a fence in front of you, You can stand under the corkscrew, you can also get right upto the First Helix from many angles.
Nemesis may be Short, but what you have is a Short and Intense Ride in a great small amount of space, and After one ride in the front seats or anywhere really, you wiill definatly wanna ride it again. I definatly recommend you try and get to Alton soon to check it out:)

This excellent ride really lives up to its reputation. Like others have said, the way it wraps round the queue is dramatic, and like any inverted, a front seat view is essential.
The reason it goes so fast through the first inversion is that it has actually been down two drops at that point: a curved drop off the lift-hill; and a small drop down the waterfall.

It is very hard to compare it to America's B&Ms. I've been on Top Gun (PGA). Nemesis is not like any of them. It is a truly unique, amazing ride.
Completely, what you lack in height you certainly dont seem to lose on speed, with the proximity of the rocks & tunnels. Its in a pretty deep hole to, the theming knocks the US parks' into touch too(Disney excluded!),
Nemesis is definatly One Truely UNIQUE Amazing Ride, No Other Inverted Coasters are like this, and this is one reason why I like this ride, I too have been on a few other B&M inverted coasters like - Montu,Duelling Dragons,Raptor,Batman at SFMM, And Basiclly you cant compare Nemesis to any of these as its so Different to the rest of them. I bet a lot of people have gone to Alton, looked at Nemesis, and laughed at its length and Height as it does look pathetic seeing it in real life for the first time when comparing it to other inverts in America, but I bet those people was'nt laughing when they got off the ride for the first time.
Nemesis really is a One of a Kind Ride not found the same anywhere else in the world, and personally I hope it stays this way. Sethman, I really hope you do find the time to come out to Alton next year to ride it, I think you truely wont be disapointed:)
