everybody in the world probably knows where this is filmed, but I was watching the opening credits of step by step today on fox family, and I have no clue what that park and coaster is. Can anybody help?

I believe it is Six Flags Magic Mountain in Velencia, California. Correct me if I'm wrong, anyone?

Nope, you're correct...the shoreline that you see on the show is fake.

Is there some overriding reason why SFMM is always on television/movie stuff? The psycho RollerCoaster movie with the bomber, Step by Step, National Lampoon's Summer Vacation...

Its kind of funny, its Magic Mountain, but I think its supposed to be like SFGA, cause they are in Wisconsin,, so,, ?? Illinois closer, but , they speed it up a lil at the end..
