Whats new in 2001 at SFOG?

I have a question about SFOG since it's my home park, but it is really an opinion thing. So here it is; between these what do all you think SFOG would be getting next year: a B&M Floorless, an Intamin hyper, a B&M hyper, or maybe an S&S free fall or shot. I would really like to see a B&M hyper since I've never been on one and from what I hear there awesome. A floorless would be cool but the two I've been on were practically the same. An Intamin hyper would be my second choice cause I love the MF although it is giga, but those trains are awesome. What are all of your opinions on the subject?
I would like to see a floorless roller coaster in SFOG.

I've heard several rumors but the one that just keeps coming up everywhere is that SFOG will increase there ride number by 3! The first is a Superman ride (whether it's gonna be a hyper or a LIM type I don't know!) It supposedly is going to be built behind Viper and the theatre is a gonner. The second is supposed to be an addition to the kiddie park, and the third is a mystery coaster. Rumors say it will be a floorless called Metal Mayhem built in a new section of the park themed after rock/heavy metal music. Like I said before, these are ALL rumors that I have heard at the majority of rumor sites. So, who knows? It is about time to spice the park up with a new coaster somewhere.

Where would they put a new section? I guess they could take out the picnic area or from what I've heard theres room behind Viper.
Why would they keep viper there, if they want to keep it they ought to swing it around so it runs perpendicular with the shops in the cotton states section, that would give them more room.

I think someone said that they build the new section out behind the Gotham City area and Batman, take up some of the parking lot I think.

Well I'm going to SFOG tommorow so I'm gonna see if there clearing out land or tearing out the concert stadium.

Well I just went to SFOG today, and nothing's different. Thunder River was opened. Viper opened up, but very late, around 6:00. But I've heard that construction isn't starting until November. I've also heard that the new attractions will be announced at the IAAPA. Everything at the park was riding better than ever. I think the new themed area should go between Gotham City and Lickskillet. A hypercoaster would fit very nicely there, plus that would be a very nice view while driving on I-20.
I got back from SFOG last night and there wasnt any construction going on. Hey KenKnn I guess we could've seen each other. Viper did open late around 6:00 but it closed around 9:30. I saw two managers walking around behind Viper and I asked them if they would be getting a 200ft plus coaster and they told said they couldn't tell me.
Yeah i guess we could've. If they said they couldn't tell ya, then that probably means that we will get a 200ft plus coaster. I sure hope so.
Mfcrazyrider, what time did u get to the park.
I was at SFOG last night and I didn't see any construction going on either. I got there at 10:00, and left at closing! The majority of the park was closed until later in the evening. After the lines got shorter (about 8:00) I headed back over into the Ninja area and waited 2 1/2 hours to ride the roughest ride I have ever been on in my life. After that I headed for Viper, and actually got 2 walk-ons!! I was gonna ride it again but like it was said earlier they closed it about 9:30. Over all the park was kinda dirty, and the lines were extremely long (but that is expected). I was really ticked off to find out that only 1 train was running on the Ninja and that is why it took so long. I looked for people that I could ask questions to but didn't find anyone. :( Oh Well, just have to wait and see.

Yeah skip the Ninja and Cyclone if they are only running one train, but the Scream Machine is another story. If they put a new coaster there between Gothem City and Lickskillet they would either have to do away with Thunder River or a good chunk of the parking lot, and their wherehouse and workshop would have to be moved. Plus they would have to do away with their stunt arena. But it would look tight from I-20. I don't want them to do away with Thunder River. I hope they don't put anyting there.

The question is, clone or no clone???? If it is a clone hopefully it'll be a clone of SFNE's Superman.
KenKen, I got there around 4:00, and stayed tell they closed. My friend and I rode Viper 5 times in a row all walk ons. From about 9:00 to 10:00 all we did was ride the Scream Machine every ride we waited for about 3min. We sat in the last row every time, it was a blast we got major air time and got to see parts of the concert going on at the amphitheater.
