What's going on at Six Flags Astroworld???
Since the '99 Serial Thriller there haven't added any new ride...I wonder, is that economical problems, or lack of space???? or simply, Six Flags doesn't what to invest on some new ride at all???? I wish they decide to build a new woodie...

First, they need to get all of their current coasters up and running (Tex Tornado) before anything new should be added.
I have said it before and I will say it again, SFAW needs NEW PAINT more than it needs a new coaster.
"X" marks the spot in 2001!

You're right Soggy. 3-4 coasters closed during a visit this year is not my idea of a park that has it's act together. Check out the state of Ultra Twister earlier in this season... http://www.coastergallery.com/2001/AW30.html
You can't see the pieces of chain laying near it in this pic, either.
I would love to see AW get all of it's coasters back up and running, and give them some new paint and a little TLC.

Soggy... Thanks again for telling me to hit Jazzland than go to SFAW..
Question though, is SFAW making money? Is it the type of thing where people go there because there's not much else nearby?
I rode "X" and never went upside down.
