What's going on with Avalanche?

My friend Matt (GowithGravity) tells me that Avalanche has not been open for the last two weekends at PKD. I hear it is also very rusty. Anyone?

The word "definitely" is definitely the most misspelled word on the buzz.
It was a little rusty when I went last year, but I enjoyed it much more than the other Bobsled coaster I've ridden, La Vibora at SFoT. I hope that they don't plan to get rid of this coaster, it was a fun little ride.
It was a decent ride but had a lot of downtime.
I rode in June, first time on a bobsled & I loved every second of it. The ride did look fairly popular, a ten minute wait for the front all day & it wasn't that crowded.

It was rusty, but rusty in the right places, & well, the "track" is made from light material, so it looked discolored but not endangered I hope.......

Well, I still happen to think that Avalanche is the best coaster @ PKD aside from the revamped Flight of Fear of course. But I'm sure that like H:XLC, it will operate at some point this season. You know, with all the "Daring Dozen" hype.

Kinda funny, only 10 of them are running...

Besides, if we were really shutting down people we disagreed with, would Jeremy (2Hostyl) still be around? :) I think not. - Jeff 1/24/02

I really hope it does get back up and running- since I am going to PKD in July. Hopefully it's down for work, and will come back.
