2002 - the year we save Americana!!
A great big headstone that reads....
"Hear lyeth the remains of a once fabled legend known as Drachen Fire, the most exausted topic of many a coaster message board. Let us drinketh a toast and eateth a weinerschnitzel to the ride that barely and poorly operated yet gaineth us tons of free attention."

One of the problems of Drachen Fire was that it had a bad location. Busch doesnt make a mistake twice.
They tried installing an intense, well-paced inverted coaster at their parks twice and look where it got them :o)

There are no plans for the area where Drachen Fire was. There are definitely no plans for a coaster to fill that spot, and the space will likely be used for educational opportunties (day camps, etc).

day camps! Who wants day camps. BGW needs rollercoasters not day camps.
Wow, man, you said it! They should fill their park with coasters so only the coaster enthusiasts will visit. Great idea! (end sarcasm) Newsflash: parks are in the business of bringing in guests and making money, not satisfying coaster enthusiasts.
