i am pretty good with this coaster stuff...but I have never heard of the fishhook! Is this some new prototype? Does anyone have some kind of explanation or possibly a picture?

The fishhook is a design such as CP's "Demon Drop" or SFWoA's "Mr. Hyde's Nasty Fall" (which used to be "The Edge" at SFGAm). The idea is a "pullout" section away from the freefall itself, with the rider ending up on his/her back out of freefall. A 700+ foot version by Arrow is being considered for the Stratosphere in Las Vegas.

My old name was MindBender. I was the loser who submitted the rumor. All of what the lady said was true! Now they are planning to build it, well sorta. So all who said it couldn't be done....Guess what! It can!
