Ha! Jeff, I just got that!!!
Do you think that CP will someday in the near future consider retracking or working on Mean Streak in some way to smooth it out? Frankly, I don't see why they don't. The project would cost much less than building a new coaster, and judging from past projects of the sort, I hear that they can be quite successful. If that coaster ran as beautifully as it looked it could be top 10.

I wonder how they would market a re-tracking though.

For all those who commented on my comment. It was a joke. It was supposed t obe funny, not alalyzed. I konw that it was high wind. But the contractor (forget who it was) should have secured it to the track or put up some temporary supports so it wouldnt fall. Its common sense.
I think it's interesting to look at an older woodie and think that there is probably very little on that coaster that was actually there when the ride was built. It's like the coaster is there, but it's really a whole new coaster, but it's the same as it always was.

Mean Streak is re-tracked in different areas every off-season.

Most woodies get a bit of new track here and there nearly every offseason.

i.e. Villain at SFWorlds of Adventure is only a year old, but it had a section of track on its second hill, and a section at the bottom of the first hill re-tracked.
