Dragster as soon as you get in the gate
Millie next
then just make your way around the park

Get a Freeway/Fastpass/Fastlane (what ever its called) for Magnum and Wicket Twister if it is opened(doubful). If its not open, get it for mantis as the ops there suck.

have fun and enjoy the ride!

Wicked Twister will be open this weekend, check out the front page of PointBuzz for the article.

Best order's back to front, just like any other park. I'll be there this Sunday too though, so maybe you should go front to back just so there's one less person in line ;)

Actually, it's a Halloweekends Sunday, it won't be that bad, you should be able to get everything in no matter what order you take them in (the only exception to that being do Raptor later in the day)

Tekno I have to disagree with you about getting a Freeway stamp for Magnum. Last Sunday Maggie was a complete walk-on for the majority of the day(loved it). FLYINGSCOOTER you should get Freeway stamps for Millennium Force and Mantis then wait for the front car on both. Remember there is only one first time and you have to do front car on MF. As far as Mantis, the front car is as smooth as you're gonna get and the view is great. If WT is running that line moves pretty fast and a Freeway stamp for Dragster is an iffy move at best. Actually now that I think about it you might not want to waste any time waiting for Dragster until you see loaded trains running. Its been running like a charm lately but I'd hate to see you waste time on the off chance that it opens late like it did last Sunday.
Tekno was your old signature concerning Ju-on or The Ring? Or am I way off base here? *** Edited 10/8/2004 5:04:10 PM UTC by macho nachos*** I WILL NOT edit again! ;)

Ring. Though I can't wait to see Juon and Grudge. But most importantly, I can't wait till Loop and Ring 2 are releasted next year for my reading and viewing habits.
We'll be there on closing weekend as well rentzy. It's turning into a tradition. If I had to guess I'd say Sunday should be perfect because of it actually falling on Halloween night and families will hopefully be out trick or treating. Let's hope for the best!

Never get a FreeWay for Magnum or Wicked Twister!...are you some kind of nut?

FreeWay is most useful for MF and Dragster. Once you get into the park, head for Magnum first and make your way around the back of the park. If you want to you can ride Magnum for the whole hour with no line, and most likely get a few trimless rides in. Whether or not you re-ride Magnum with effect how much time you have to make it around to the back of the park.

Once you ride Gemini, CCMR, and Mean Streak, be sure to hop on the train a little before, or right around 11:00 am because that's when they start handing out the MF FreeWay. Get in line for MF's FreeWay, no matter how long the line looks it will only take a few minutes to get through.

From here you have some choices. You can hit up the coasters around you, head to the front of the park to hit up Raptor and Wicked Twister, or go grab something to eat. Just be sure to make it back to Dragster to get in line for FreeWay by around 1:30pm. They start handing them out at 2:00pm and the line always ends up stretching back to Magnum's entrance.

From my experiences at the park, this is a failsafe way to hit up all the coasters in one day.

I'm also a fan of the back to front system.

Start at the Magnum Entrance. Do Magnum, Gemini, (if you're credit whoring fit Jr. Gemini here), CCMR, Woodstock, Mean Streak. Catch the train with time to spare for the MF freeway. Do Iron Dragon, WildCat, Mantis, Corkscrew.

Get Dragster freeway. Do WT and Disaster Transport

Finish the day with Raptor and Blue Streak.

Fit in the freeway rides where appropriate - depends on time issued.

Even on busy days this gets you all the coasters in with time to spare. Use it for flats or re-rides. *** Edited 10/8/2004 6:51:47 PM UTC by Lord Gonchar***

Back-to-front seems to be a good technique that can be employed at any park. A few weeks ago, we got to Hershey when it opened and got one ride on Storm Runner, two on Wildcat, two on Lightning Racer, one on Roller Soaker and one on Wild Mouse all within an hour or so. Anyone who visits Hershey will know that all of those rides get long lines later in the day.

With a big park like CP, I can see that working very well.

Just don't ride Raptor first. Wait until late afternoon or early evening when the line has settled down by an hour or more.

Gonch, I didn't think they were doing Dragster Freeways this year...they weren't when I was there.

I'd say get a Millie one, but they tend to give those out while you're in line for Dragster;).

No idea, I just assumed.

They sure as hell gave 'em out when I was working there...I don't think people started standing in front of that FreeWay booth an hour early for nothing! :)

... when the line is probably about an hour long. The best part of the Freeway system is that early in the morning, there's more people standing and waiting in line for the freeways than in line for the rides. I just laugh as I walk in ... and walk in again ... and walk in again ...

TTD first. then all other rides. MF last ride you take. (night)( back row) MF much faster at night and more insane ride. Don't ride MF in the morning its much slower.

I was there on a day where the park hours were 10-11. No freeway stamps, no plans on what to ride. I got on everything on a Saturday. Unless all you care about other things at the park, your day will be done by 6:00 if all your concerned about is getting on rides. I find going around the park in a Counter-Clockwise is the most efficient. Of course this could be just me...

I have always agreed with don't ride Raptor first, but I went a few weekends ago and it was a walk on first thing both days, it seemed as though everyone was heading to dragster... my advice would be to hit MF first thing. You can ride it all morning while everyone is hitting Dragster. Then just get the Freeway for Dragster in the afternoon. This time of year its dead city, you shouldn't have any waits for Magnum, Raptor, Mantis, Gemini, Wicked Twister... etc... etc.... But don't get caught in a freeway line when there is a short wait for the ride. In september people were waiting for Freeway on Dragster and I kid you not it was a walk on line for the ride itself, we rode and got off and still got our freeway for later when there actually was a line. We rode it 5 times in about 1hr 45min, including a 30min wait for the front and riding the magnum and power tower a few times too.
