What will become of Schwabinchen?

Now that the 2002 season is over at Cedar Point and Schwabinchen has been removed, What do you think will happen to this awesome ride next year? Will it be moved to another part of the park? Or will it be sent to another park? I really enjoyed this ride and hope it just gets relocated to another part of the park, I mean they have moved large rides like the Giant Wheel and Wild Cat around the park, why couldn't they do that with Schwabinchen. I also wouldn't mind seeing it come to SFGAM, I Know it wont happen, but I like to dream :-)

I understand it's for sale if you want it...

You gotta buy the whole ride, though. :)

Remember though, you can't *mount* Schwabinchen just anywhere...;)

If I only had a 480v outlet in my back yard...

The CP press release said that it wasn't going to be at the park at all, so its either being sold or just going away totally

Shame. It was a perfectly good ride. Maybe Idlewild will buy it.
It wouldn't suprise me if it was moved to another park in the chain.
All the other parks in the chain have a "trabant" style ride already - so don't expect it to show up at another CFLP park.

Actually Dorney doesn't have a trabant ride. And it's 10 minutes away from me. But, I'd love it if Knoebels bought it, because Dorney would nueter it. It would be so much more fun at Knoebels because they would most likely run it forward and backward and put it on a nice long ride cycle. If it went to Dorney it would just run forward and on a really short cycle just like at CP.

Could this be a new ride for Wyandot Lake?!?

I can dream, can't I? Something, ANYthing...

You know I keep forgetting that Dorney Park is in the chain -- accidentally on purpose. Yes Dorney is the only park in the chain that doesn't have a trabant. Send the B**Bs to 'Jersey!!! LOL!

Maybe it'll show up on Jeff's web-cam as a new lawn jockey to scare away stalkers.
Its heading to the big bone yard in the sky.

It would look nice on the animal side of SFWoA. It would be nice if they would add some new ride this year, even if it's not the one we all want (hypercoaster hypercoaster hypercoaster hypercoaster.....)
The big bone yard in the sky??? I bet Ms. Schwabinchen will enjoy that! LOL!

$50k.. and it's yours.

Of course.. doesn't include ground prep, concrete work (providing you don't want it to just sink in your back yard), re-assembly, all new lights (they were removed and destroyed after the park closed), and don't forget, if you plan to run it, insurance.

Can some describe this ride to me?

I'm not going to describe the ride (what with the twirling and the tilting and what not). But if you watch the video in the link below, you'll get the idea:
