Mine was high roller a classic at Valleyfair I rode it the first time before Wild Thing ever opend and before I have been working there for 8yrs.
First steel: Whizzer SFGAm, I was really scared, but didn't cry.
First wood: American Eagle, I cried until the 2nd helix.

Cyclops. 1900 feet of CCI goodness.
My first ever coaster was "The Corkscrew" at Geauga Lake, now known as Six Flags of Ohio. I had gone there that day with a bunch of guy friends of mine (I am female) They talked me into it, told me that it was a baby coaster, and that it was short. They said that it was nothing to be afraid of. The funniest thing about it was that my family (my mom mostly.) had tried for years and years to get me to go on roller coasters. She would bribe me with money, expensive tennis shoes, gifts, all kinds of things, and I would never do it. But for some reason these guys talked me into it. (I wasn't dating any of them, they were all just friends of mine.)

It was a good ride, but too short and very babyish.

I love coasters now and always will. I love Cedar Point it it the best.

Viper at SFDL i remember that whole event. i was 7 or 8 at the time. i was too short to ride Predator and i just gave shot to see if i could go on Viper just for the heck of it. i didnt make it but the girl said to stuff tissues in my shoes and i would just make it. so my grandma, aunt, and my mom took out all tissues in there pursues and i shoved them into my sneakers. i go back to the line and no one was there i walked in line and got on the ride. too bad Viper isnt the same as it was back then.

My mother tells me it was one of the coasters at Idora Park... I don't remember it and she doesn't remember which one. The first that I remember? Probably Blue Streak or Mine Ride at Cedar Point... but that was back in '73 and I can't remember which one was first. Dang, my memories going!
mine i can barely remember, i was about 7 years old. i dont even know what it was called but i thought the helix was awesome. but my cousin rode Avalanche at Kings Dominion when he was 1 and a half! its true, i was there. its not a kiddie coaster, but it didnt have a height restriction, so my uncle took him on it. pretty early starter huh?
The first coaster experience was probably Space Mountain, but the first ride I remember was on the American Eagle. I was just tall enough to ride. I think It was like 4, 1981. Scared the crap out of me.

The Silver Streak at BOBLO ISLAND!!!
Dracor at Santa's Village when I was 2, but since that just goes in a circle, I'd say my first coaster, that didn't just go in a circle, was Little Dipper at Kiddieland or Hillcrest Park also when I was 2.
I can't remember for sure but,it was either the runaway mine train (Sfgadv) or,from what i remember of it, a Light blue Mouse type coaster that was also at Sfgadv.I can't remember the name because i was only 5 years old.Any Sfgadv history buffs know what the name was???
