What up with SF new orleans??!

I know that it may sound stupid but was the SF down there destroyed? That is what I heard on Fox5 news (DC) and they said that the rollercoasters collapsed. Any got some news of this situation?
Are you really that lazy, or are you just stupid?

Or you could just pass him a link and save all the name calling.

Edit....And he's probably lazy as you said.

A day at the park is what you make it!

Well for those who complain about the lack of a waterpark at SFNO...it sure looks like they got one courtesy of mother nature.
Still another dumb post from you, SFA, glad you, yet again, live up (down?) to your reputation.

^A friend of mine made a comment about SFNO and waterparks that was much more tactless than this one, but neither are even remotely funny.

Not the appropriate time.

Yes Batwing Fan, since I hear we are entering another ice age we'll rejoice with you as SFA gets its next coaster in the far far future because a glacier decided to roll through Upper Marlboro.

Whaddya mean you don't like sledding?

And now its time for the official dumba$$ awards. Lets start with Laziest Poster.

The envelope please...

Why, it's SFAmerica for not even looking at the huge 8 page topic on the first page!

The next category is Biggest Enthusia$$.

The envelope please...

BatwingFanSFA! He wins for trivializing the death of several thousand people in the gulf region and over a million people that are now homeless. As far as I am concerned, you can go f**k yourself.

Certain victory.

AMEN

I have friends and neighbors who have lost their houses and all their possissions. Thousands of people are DEAD. Bodies are floating down the streets downtown and no one can doing anything about it. You people are worried about some stupid rollercoasters?

Real Cbuzz quote of the day - "The classes i take in collage are so mor adcanced then u could imagen. Dont talk about my emglihs" - Adamforce
It's not so much the rollercoasters that we are concerned about as it is something familiar to us. Of course we care more for you friends and familiy's safety and losses. Those of us without friends or family there will still recognize Batman The Ride and seeing it under water brings the tragedy closer to home to us.

That said the human tragedy is a billion times more important than Six Flags New Orleans or Dixie Landing(haven't seen any mention of that park).

I hope your loved ones get out safetly and are able to recover as well and fast as possible

Please remember BatwingFan doesn't speak for the rest of us that patronize SFA. When I thought he couldn't sink any lower, he did. I shouldn't be surprised but I am.

Here is some news on the sfno park. All it basicly says is that the park is closed due to the hurricane, and that the tickets for the park will be honerd(sp) at all six flags parks. Here is a link.

http://www.sixflags.com/parks/neworleans/

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

http://2theadvocate.com/

There is video on the lower right hand corner. Click on the East New Orleans one contains and there is aerial video of the park.

i just seen a sky veiw of SFNO on the news, and it is so flooded, only the rides you can see like mega zeph, sonic slam, batman, the jester, and sky ride and you can't see the ground no more cuz of the water.
The water is covering half of the vertical loop on B:TR now. Megazeph will be a total loss. Water sitting on wood that long is not a good combination. The steel coasters should be all right, however there might be some structural damage caused by forceful moving water if there is any.
While I don't mind discussing SFNO and it's state, I hope everyone does realize that it's a far cry from what is currently happening.

Since BATWINGFANSFA had to go and mess things up, this topic is now closed. *** Edited 9/1/2005 1:47:00 AM UTC by Chitown***
