What trips are you planning for 2017?

We're off to Cedar Point for our annual "week after Memorial Day" stay at Hotel Breakers. In July, we're introducing the girls (5 and 9) to the Atlantic Ocean for the first time in Sandbridge, VA (just south of Virginia Beach), and we'll be hitting up Kings Dominion (a first for everyone in the family) for a couple days on the way back home to Ohio.

Sometime in August we will head over the river and through the woods to their grandmother's house in Southern Ohio, and we'll slip away to Kings Island for a day. All I want to know is what is in the shed.

And who can forget Face your Fear VIII? The Sunday after Columbus Day in October it's back to Cedar Point for some exposure therapy.

It's a Cedar Fair summer season for us.

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

I just got back from visiting DreamWorld and Movie World in the Gold Coast of Australia. My upcoming trips will be:

Six Flags Over Texas on May 19 (during Texas Bear Round Up weekend)

Hershey Park on July 2

Six Flags Great Adventure on July 5

Dorney Park on July 6

Busch Gardens on July 9

Kings Dominion on July 11

Kings Island on September 8 for Gay Pride Night.

Those dates are tentative and might change, but as it stands right now those are my plans.

Are you MAN ENOUGH to ride this ride ?

I'm coming over from England in June. Flying into St Louis and flying home from Atlanta.
This is where I'm going. (I intend to be at King's Island for 2 days and for 3 days in the Dollywood, Smokey Mountain area.)

Six Flags St Louis.
Holiday World
Beech Bend
Kentucky Kingdom
Kings Island
Campden Park
Nascar Speedpark
Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster
Goats On The Roof Of The Smokies Mountains
Dollywood
Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster
Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park (Alpine coaster)
Santa's Land. Cherokee
Lake Winnepesaukah, Chattanooga
Fun Junction. Fayetteville
Six Flags Georgia
Thanks for any tips.
Regards,
Robin

First time out to SoCal in August- hopefully in time to catch a few rides on Viper. Knott's also on tap while we're out there. Apart from that, a return to Hershey in July, the annual CP trip around Halloweekends time, and a handful of visits to SFGAm scattered throughout the season.

The trick was to surrender to the flow.

Was hoping to make it a King's Island, Holiday World, and Kentucky Kingdom trip, but college student budgets aren't big. So myself and a friend are going to just King's Island for two days in early May.

It will be the first visit to the park for both of us, so I'm really looking forward to it. Aside from hitting up all the coasters, and getting a night ride on The Beast, anything else we should do?

Since I'm now a Cedar Fair home park patron (Great America - ugh) we're thinking of heading to Toronto on vacation for a week and also to KD for a day after a conference in the DC area. We just got back (less than 12 hours ago) from staying across the street from KBF but didn't enter the park, instead choosing DLR for 3 days.

I had a 9 hour layover in Kuala Lumpur which afforded me time to see some sights and get on Supersonic Odyssey at Berjaya Times Square last month. Since I bought a Six Flags season pass this year (Hurricane Harbor entrance included), besides SFGadv I will try to make trips to SFNE, Lake Compounce, Quassy, Casino Pier and SFMM.

You won't see me coming...

CA in two weeks. Been a long time - looking forward to DL and all the new rides at SFMM, but mostly excited about Ghostrider 2.0, Monte, and first laps on GoldStriker...

In August I'm doing a day at Kennywood, a day at Hershey, one or two half days at Dorney (going to 2 nights of DCI shows in Allentown) and a day at Six Flags Great Adventure. I'm very excited for 4 new parks

I'm also hoping to find time to make a day trip down to Kings Island for Mystic Timbers.

As of right now its just Cedar Point for 3 days in June and possibly Holiday World. I'm seperating from the Air Force within a month and waiting on some job offers. Being in a limbo has made planning trips hard but depending on where I end up working I might add a few more.

We are definitely going back to Holiday World this summer.

We are going to try out Rudolph's campground this time.

Other stuff is still in the works.

Last year we did the Six Flags pass and hit 3 different SF parks.

Next month I'll be doing a Lake Compounce and SFNE trip. Haven't been to Compounce and I'm missing a few credits at SFNE.

Also, I'll be doing KD and BGW, two parks I haven't been to. On the way down from Philly I hope to hit SFA since I am missing their spinning mouse.

-CoasterMania! at Cedar Point 6/1-6/3

-Cedar Point & CP Shores 6/22-6/25

-Carowinds & Kings Dominion late August, on the way home from Myrtle Beach for the Solar Eclipse (or the apocalypse as my son calls it)

-Cedar Point first or second weekend of HalloWeekends (Midnight Syndicate sold this trip)

-Dorney Park (Coaster Madness?) 10/7-10/10. We were thinking about Hersheypark as well that weekend but they aren't open Columbus Day weekend.

-Multiple day trips to SeaBreeze & Darien Lake, probably Camp a couple nights at Darien Lake

I'm trying to find a way to get to Kings Island to squeeze a little more out of this Platinum Pass!

I think we might head to Kings Island for Columbus Day weekend and go to Dorney Park for Labor Day weekend instead...

But then again, what do I know?

We've been to BGW, KD, Knoebels, Hersheypark(home park,) and SFA so far this season. Going to SFGADv this weekend.

Planning Dutch Wonderland when the new inverted coaster opens. Waldameer, Del Grosso's, Cedar Point, SFOG, Kennywood, Kentucky Kingdom, and Kings Island.

Save yourself a lot of driving if you can swap dorney and great adventure, not sure if you have some compelling reason to visit in that order?

Hershey to Dorney is a little over an hour across 78,

As a Six Flags Pass holder I have gone to all of the parks near me (within 3 hrs.) SFNE, La Ronde (ick), and the Great Escape (boring except for The Comet). I will be going to the Connecticut parks during a family reunion (Quassy and Lake Compounce). I have also been to Canobie and Funtown/Splashtown USA. Late in July I will be going to Carowinds for my first time. I hope to make a couple of other parks, but I live quite a distance from most large or famous parks so i have to make long trips and that is difficult with my workload.

Did you try the new drop ride at Great Escape? It looks pretty scary and draws quite the crowd from the videos I've seen.

Too soon? Was that too soon?

But then again, what do I know?

For the first time in quite a long time, I'm planning a trip to a park I've never been to. Spending 3 nights and 2 days at Dollywood in October.
