What to do in Phoenix?

I was in Phoenix last year...great city. There is a lot to do out in the deserts. We took horse back riding tours and a hummer tour into the desert. The rest of the time we chilled at our hotel by the pool and golf courses...the Phoenician...such an awesome resort!

LoadedG, I meant that Rawhide was like Knotts-pre theme park. Like when Walter Knott just had his chicken dinner restraunt, and Ghost Town was built to entertain people during their long waits for the restraunt. That sounds more familiar.

When I was there, last October, Rawhide had a simulator (like an RCT simulator) in their ghost town. Shameful. :)

Dont get me wrong. I love it here in Phoenix. But if you are looking to *DO* something, the options are pretty limited, especially for a city of this magnitude. If you like to hang out and sunbath, hike, or check out some sports then Phoenix is for you. There are also some decent "man-made" lakes nearby (Bartlett, Sahuaro, Roosevelt, Pleasant). There are a few water parks too (Big Surf, WaterWorld, SunSplash), but they're nothing too special. If you are into food, Phoenix has some of the most impressive cuisine around. Try PF Chang's, Monte's La Casa Vieja, Tuccetti, or Pinnacle Peak.

My other car is a Giovanola!

I'm visitng Phoenix now and if you are into hiking, go to Camelback Mountain and hike it. It's a tough one, but well worth it!!

hmmmmm, what to do in phoenix...

well, theres mill avenue (in downtown Tempe), thats a popular college hangout with many great shops (including a really great hippie store (watch out, the incents will hurt your eyes, lol) and lots of entertainment over there.

also theres Arizona Mills mall, a typical mall. got the imax theater, the normal theater, lots o shops, etc.

castles n coasters, good place, but eh, nothing too special. desert storm is a good, but very painful ride (even with lapbars). i feel sorry for the people who had to ride the coaster before they ripped off the OTSR's and slapped on the lapbars, i heard peoples ears were bleeding (people not wearing earings btw).

what else....oh yeah, theres also the hiking and stuff if you into that, but me being a local i dont find the desert too entertaining :\

i know theres more....lets see...what about...nope, i cant think of anything else :(
