What still scares you?

Those SCAD towers are cool looking. Where did you get to experience one?
I get nervous on Chaos of all things, just because I am afraid I will be thrown straight down into the cement, while flipping over in strange ways. The ride is exhilarating, but I think it is because I am afraid of crashing. The big shot is cool, but I wasn't scared, it happens too fast. Drop Zone does it to me though, going up sooooo slowly.

Drop Rides definitely
Also The Beast through the final helix.
I swear the train is going to rip off the track every time I ride it.
I get nervous on Outer Limits at PKI. It's just because of that unexpected launch and the promise of a serious headache afterwards.
Two words: ejection seat.....

I did the SCAD tower in Dallas. I thought that was the only one. Oh yeah, ejection seats are frightening too. It felt like it was going to shoot to the moon!
One ride ride(not roller coaster) that scares me would be the giant drop or some kind of the newer Intamin drop type of rides. I mean going straight up and then dropping like a stone still scares me. But of course I am scared of heights.
Launch coasters scare me a little. I love them, but I'm always afraid I'm going to hurt my neck because you take off so fast.

Also, any huge coaster that I have not been on scares me. But I love them all.
I have not been on a SCAD tower, I saw an ad for one in a magazine. It looks really neat. Does anyone happen to know where more are located?
The Big Shot in Vegas has my vote. The worst part is when you first get off the elevator, you can feel the building sway back and forth.Thats what made me so nervous.
Hey Soggy- I'm a WOMAN, and I'm not afraid of Big Shot! :)

But I'm right now trying to get enough gather enough nerve (and $) to ride Katanga and the BIG skycoaster in Kissimmee. I've never ridden either type of ride before. The thought really scares me, but I really want to do it.

S:ROS (SFDL) rides for 2000- 139!

I'm afraid of waiting in line for inverts. If a shoe flies off, and hits you, sorry!
Also tilt coasters, since if those brakes fail, sorry!
And sometimes hypers, gigas, climbing up the hill, sometimes it might just be excitement, but sometimes, definitely scared!
Drop rides (Power Tower, Giant Drop) scare me because if you get stuck at the top, and 15 minutes later, it drops you, I'd have a heart attack!

Top 3:
1. Millenium Force
2. Raptor
3. Batman: the Ride

supermanros_girl, I was insulting 2hostyl's manhood. He mentioned that if someone insulted his manhood, he might get on the Big Shot.

So you want a coaster in your backyard? I hope you have a big backyard.
Nothing really scares my, because I love the adrenaline the trills of coasters and other rides produce. The most adrenaline producing rides are Turbo Drops and the Demon Drop. *** This post was edited by CPgenius on 10/25/2000. ***
Big Shot. Nothing comes close to the fear of being 900+ ft. in the air, and being launched to 1000+ ft. in the air. It was my first S&S ever.

What scares me?

Big inflatable slides, like the Titanic slide. Some of those, if one line pops off, it will throw kids right off the top. Or the kids go sliding down and bounce right over the barrier wall at the bottom. Or the wind catches them and carries them down the midway.........

Mongoose I'm with you! I can't stand ferris wheels, skycoasters, or space shots!

"FEAR the Four!"
MF the first time, and the area around SFKK. Those fairgrounds were kinda creapy.

Where would we be without the rumor mill?
Wild Cat @ cedar point scares me it feels like u are about to get your head chopped off!~i heard it is old and on one of those i heard that someone died on or something~does anyone know about that?
I would have to agree with Jeff and Loriu. I have never rode a skycoaster (ripcord) before. Everytime I think I'm gonna do it, I go to sign up, but when I look at it, it makes me think twice. I just can't do it. I'm a major thrill seeker too! I chicken out everytime. Just like the cowardly lion..hehe... It's all good though :)
