What should we do?

Okay, this summer, my dad, me and one of my close friends are going to LA to go to SFMM and KBF, but we also want to take a day to go to a water park and I need help on what to choose. Should we go to Knott's Soak City which won the #6 slot on America's Top 10 Water parks or should we go to Hurrican Harbor right next door to SFMM? Both parks seem to have an equal amount and variety of attractions, but has anyone been to both and knows which is better? Please help!

I personally feel that Knott's Soak City would be a better choice, but then again, I'm not really a "water park fanatic." Hurricane Harbor is just OK. Nothing special at all. There are a few exciting water rides, but Soak City has more quality slides/water attractions.

Enjoy the ocean, and hit Santa Monica. Then you can visit the Boardwalk and pier while you are there.
Well going to Santa Monica isn't really an option.............

Hurricane Harbor is nice and I have not heard great things about Knott's Soak City (people say it is lacking something). I would suggest going to Raging Waters!

Well, when I was at SFMM I never really got a good look at Hurrican Harbor. But a water park is a water park right.

Yeah, Raging Waters looks like an awesome place to spend the day! I know it is located in San Dimas, CA, but isn't San Dimas located all the way down by San Diego? If not than can someone tell me where it is and how far of a drive it is from SFMM? Thanks!
