What should I ride at Alton Towers?

I've never been before, what should I go on?

Highlights include Nemesis, Oblivion, and Air. No idea about anything else.

Hex is a very well done haunted swing. The castle itself is pretty good if you have time to walk around and check out the sights.

The Haunted House got a face lift this season and is now an interactive shoot-em up attraction. Haven't ridden it this year though so don't know if it's any good, but it was quite good before.

My tip: ride Nemesis, then ride Nemesis, then ride Nemesis, in fact ride it all day!

Nemesis is totally incredible. Absolute MUST-DO. I personally rank Air very highly, but many people don't. I think its awesome though, its well worth a ride. Oblivion is also very good, though IMO not as good as the other two. Then there's:
Ripsaw- a top spin (good)
Hex - haunted swing (I don't like the actual ride part, but the build-up is superb)
Duel - indoor shooting ride (good fun)
Runaway Mine Train - fun
Black Hole- indoor coaster, good
Then a selection of water rides, which are average. That's about all there is which you should consider doing. Get XRT (early entry) and use Fastrack on Air and Nemesis (fastpass). Ride Nemesis, Air and Oblivion as much as you can!

Also look out for the single riders line on Air and get a walk-on as opposed to a 2 hour line.

Don't ride anything. Even though you're going, all the rides suck so you should just try to enjoy everything else at the park.
