Rideman - true...there were never accidents on The Bat, BUT I heard that one time this girl with long hair was riding the first-gen Intamin Freefall at SFMM and it got caught and her head was ripped off!

And this one time I was riding Ghostrider and the train came OFF THE TRACK...I swear!

I had the opportunity to ride Drachen Fire a few times, during its first and second seasons. At that point, it didn't have short lines or empty trains at all!

But the fact remains, it was something of a headbanger. It didn't bother me, but it bothered quite a few people and was blamed for at least two brain aneurysms.

That headless girl really gets around and is really old too... I can remember when I was a kid the stories around here. The same headless girl visited Hersheypark sometime before 1970. My grand mother used to say that she heard that a girl riding in the back seat of the Comet got her hair caught and had her head torn off. Funny how those old Urban Legends travel through the decades and from one park to another.
